Even though Ryuuk is a complete douche, he is important to me already. He isnt a monster, demon, or whatever. He is human to me. Having is company is a wonderful feeling. It reminds me of how i used to feel with my dad before our family was ruined

Ryuuk almost sounded hurt when he said the word die, but of course you were oblivious to it. He was very happy when he found out you talked and looked at him like he was human. He was glad somebody actually saw him as human, and not a monster. After all this wasnt his choice.

After that little conversation you pick up Rin and sling his arm over your neck and walk outside. Since you didn't know where he lived you started to walk towards the conveniet store to ask the lady if she knew where he lived.
"Excuse me ma'am?" You say with a fake smile
"Hmm? Oh uh yes, hello dear"
"Excuse me Mrs.Kolan! Have you seen Rin?!" A boy with glasses yelles and he steps in front of you. But then soon notices a passed out Rin. "Rin?"
"He slipped and fell, i tried waking him up but he seems unconscious" You lie, making a fake concerned face.
"Oh uh thank you" The boy says and he takes Rin off your arms. "Im Yukio Okumura by the way"
"Im (y/n) (l/n) nice to meet you Yukio-Kun Also is Rin your brother?" You ask curious, your fake smile never leaving your face
