Why I love it: It's another song I found while in middle school, around 2010-11, even though the album was released in 2005 when I was 8 years old and my metalhead family had been listening to Kamelot since I was born. I was often suicidal at this time, and I'd find a part of the forest by the road I could sit and listen to it while I looked at the bridge I was planning to jump from. This song kept me from it, as the outro is so beautiful and reminded me of the beautiful things in life. The line "if life brings another day" always made me wonder. Also Roy Khan's voice is angelic.
One other year has left my life
One year bygone so soon
These were the days I sacrificed
These days were lived for youSome came with winter in white
Some days were blown away
Some came with sultry summer nights
Some with October rainOh, how I long for utter silence
But who am I to know
When rain will turn to snow?
If life brings another day
