Monday; August 15, 2016 : First Day of School

The sound of a soft harp wakes me up. It was my alarm set for 6:05 am. I turn it off and go back to sleep

I knew I would do this so I set another alarm five minutes later the night before. Once it went off again I turned it off and went back to sleep again.

But the next alarm wasn't calming. It was a louder more exciting tone. A trumpet. And the best part is that my phone was right next to my ear.

'Ugh.....I hate everyone.' I rubbed my eyes and finally get up from bed. I go to my brother's room to wake him up.

I pushed him.

He only moves over to the other side. That's when I take the blankets and throw them on the floor. He still didn't wake up.

'Of course I have to always do this..'

I get my phone and put an alarm for the next minute. And the same alarm that wakes me up, startles my brother.

"AGHHHH!!!!!" He fell off the bed and I continue to the closet as if nothing happened. I picked up my shirt that I'd been saving, and a new pair of blue jeans.

My hair was straightened today. My mom made me because she doesn't want me wearing a ponytail all the time.

Once I'm ready I put on my new black wedge sneakers. Then my black sequin jacket to finish the look.

"Are you guys ready yet?!" My mom yelled.

"Yeah just go to the car!!" I yell back.

My mom took pics of me and my brother and we went out the door but as soon as I'm out I realized it's raining.

'This is going to be painful.'

I'm finally inside the school

'This is just too much. I have to get to classroom.' I looked around seeing people everywhere. I got a nervous feeling in my stomach as I walked into the cafeteria. I sat down where I sat every day last year.

It was 7:15 am. And I had to make it till 3:10 pm.

I drew on my phone making the finishing touches on my art work when suddenly someone taps me on the shoulder. I was shocked that someone would do that.

I turned to see the girl I helped out on open house. Her dirty blonde hair was down and she wore a teal top with white lace detail. Light blue jeans and white converse.

"Hey." She smiled.

"Um..Hey?" I looked at her and was confused on what was happening. No one has ever really talked to me. She must be new.

"Well I'm Hayley Fawn and I'm new here and I was wondering if I could be friends with you. I don't really know anyone here so.." She sat down next to me.

I got to the point when I spoke. "I haven't had a friend in a long time. But if you feel like having a "friend" who doesn't talk much then go for it." I continued drawing.

"Huh? Then I guess I'll be your friend." She laughed.

'What is wrong with her? Seriously why would she pick me over all of the-'

"Hey do you like video games? I do. I like horror or ones with dragons!"

"Yeah games and dragons but I don't like horror." It's weird talking to someone that isn't an adult.
