Travis X Reader

*your p.o.v.*

I woke up at 7:30a.m. to go to work at the music shop. My alarm went off and I tried to shut it off which I successfully did, but in the process Travis held onto my waist so I wouldn't leave. "Travis I have to go to work for my first day. My instruments were delivered last night and I'm starting my job today for the music place. I start work at 8:30 this morning. And I get out of work at 2:45 and I only work on Mondays and Friday's. Today's Friday so maybe we could do something after.. But I got to go.." I said as Travis groggily sighed and let go. "Fiiine.." He replied tired. "Thanks Trav Trav." I said kissing his cheek as I went to my suitcase to grab an outfit. Antara told me that it gets cold in the music shop and that I should bring something warm to wear in case so I grabbed something and went into the bathroom to change.

Under the flannel-

I brushed/combed my hair and put it in a pony tail. (Unless it's short, if ur hair is short just think of whatever for it). I put on some eyeliner and chap stick and left the bathroom. I left the hotel and went to the nearby café and got a (pick one or however many you want) vanilla/caramel/chocolate coffee/iced coffee to start my day. When I got my coffee I went to the music shop and got there just in time. When I opened the door Antara was setting up things on the counter by the cash register. "Oh hey (y/n)! You're right on time for work. Here's your name tag and there are some boxes in the back room to put on the counter. They're just small boxes for things for kids.. Because a lot of people who come in here usually have little kids." Antara said as she gave me a set of keys for certain things in the store. I took the keys and went to get the boxes. She was right, they were small. Since there were only three of them I took them to the counter after locking back up the door and shutting it. I set them down and made the counter look presentable. And soon enough three other employees walked in. "Oh yeah.. (Y/n), these are the only other employees.. That's Arnav, he's my brother. His name means the ocean." Antara said pointing to a man who looked about my age who looked just like Antara except with a blue-ish green with orangish eyes.

"Nice to meet you I'm (y/n)." I said shaking his hand. "Arnav." He replied smiling as I smiled back. "That there is Michael. He's one of my good friends since school." Antara said as a man who looked a little bit older than me and was somewhat pale/tan with blond hair and blue eyes walked up to me shaking my hand. "I'm Michael, it's nice to meet you." He said smiling as I smiled back. "I'm (y/n). Nice to meet you too." I replied. "And finally we have Aria. We've been friends ever since we've been in college together.. And college was three years ago." Antara said as a girl with black hair and green eyes who looked about my age walked up to me and shook my hand. She was somewhat pale/tan and she had freckles and glasses. "I'm aria nice to meet you. I'm kind of the nerd here." She said smiling as I smiled back and shook her hand. "I'm (y/n), nice to meet you too." I replied. "Okay guys, today's Friday and it gets kind of busy on Fridays, so be prepared. (Y/n) here will be working on Mondays and Friday's so that's when you will see her unless you see her outside of work. I have to go babysit some of the kids here at the resort so I'll be back at 2:00. Bye guys, call if you need anything!" Antara said smiling as we all nodded and left. "She acts like a mom." Michael chuckled as he started to make the instruments look presentable. "Yeah... But anyways I call working at the register!" Aria replied as she tried to get to the register but Arnav beat her to it. "Nuh-uh. I'm doing register this time. You did it yesterday. It's my turn." Arnav said as aria pouted. "Fine. Then I'll go clean the windows and the door.. And vacuum.." Aria said sighing as I giggled a little bit at her reaction. "Oh yeah wait. Antara told me last night on what your job is. You can play instruments here and help people with picking them out. So while you're waiting you can play whatever." Arnav said as I nodded. I walked over to the piano and decided to play a song. Since I have the one that was there they out a different one there. This one is white. I grabbed a piece of music and sat on the seat. I then started to play.
Cue de music

I sat and played as people came into the store. The little kids sat on the floor and listened to the music as the parents shopped around. It is pretty busy today. When I finished the song people walked up to me telling me how good I was and that they wanted an instrument. Which I ended up showing them w couple and they each left with an instrument.

At 2:45

"K my shift's over. See you guys Monday." I said walking out of the music store. "Bye." Everyone else replied. I walked to the hotel to see everyone downstairs. "Hey (Y/n) how was work." Travis asked kissing my cheek as I walked over to them all and he wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "Really great. They let me play the instruments there as a way to help sell them." I replied as aphmau gasped. "That's it! Since we all argued about what to do, how about see if (y/n) can play us a song!" Aphmau suggested as everyone smiled and nodded. "O-ok. Which instrument?" I asked as they all pondered it for a second. "Piano!" They all said as I smiled. "Okay, I can do that." I replied sitting down ready to play.

Cue de music

When I was done everyone clapped. "That was amazing!" Katelyn said smiling as everyone nodded. "Yeah Kawaii Chañ really liked it!!" Kawaii Chañ said smiling. "Yeah you are AMAZING!" Aphmau squealed. "Yeah your piano skills are amazing." Lucinda said. "How come I never knew you played piano until now (y/n)?" Aaron asked. "Well I've had a lot of piano lessons after school.. And I've always played one with an instructor whenever I went to a so called 'friends house.'" I replied as he nodded. "Well it certainly paid off. You are awesome at piano." Garroth said as I blushed a little bit from all the comments. "Well I certainly enjoyed it. And that's coming from an antisocial weirdo." Zane said as I giggled a little bit. "You're great." Travis said as he hugged me from behind and out his hands on my stomach. "Well I'm gonna head to bed." I said standing up as everyone nodded in agreement. Me and Travis walked to our room and got  in bed. We paid under the covers and I kissed Travis's nose. "Goodnight Trav Trav." I said smiling as he smiled back. "Night (Y/n)." Travis replied as he put us into a cuddle position. He kissed my forehead and we both dozed off to sleep.
