"You won't need this anymore."

Tyrese and Major Lennox both started shouting at Galloway, who waved at the security vehicles. They closed in on the autobots, threatening to fire at any moment; in which all hell would break lose.

Ruby decided it was time to intervene. She disabled the security vehicles with a simple snap of her fingers, the guns whining as they dropped their aim, and then pushed them backwards. Galloway followed the Major's gaze as he looked round to see fifteen or so vehicles rolling backwards away from the autobots, their engines appearing to be dead.

Galloway's stunned expression turned to fury when he saw Ruby. Major Lennox slapped a hand to his forehead. Unfortunately, Galloway put it all together and worked out that Ruby was different in a second.

His face filled with red and he turned on Major Lennox, "This, is your secret weapon!?" he spat.

Apparently, Galloway had not been told about Ruby at all, just that the team had come into possession of a weapon; so naturally he assumed this weapon wouldn't be a living creature that could think for its self.

"This is a complete violation! Don't you think the president should have been informed that this team was harboring a highly dangerous individual!?"

"She is not dangerous!" snapped Tyrese.

"And who are you to say?" Galloway shot back.

Major Lennox stepped between the two men, who were beginning to size each other up (Tyrese would win easily), and held his hands up to their chests.

"Ruby isn't dangerous," said the major. He called to Ruby. She came over, wary.

Galloway glared at her like she was an ugly insect he yearned to swat. The autobots also came closer, shadowing her like overprotective parents. Galloway didn't flinch. He was over-confident, convinced that they could all drop dead if he asked his people to do it. He clearly hadn't seen Ruby in action.

Ruby suddenly wished she was wearing the same uniform as everyone else, at least then she'd blend in with team. At the moment she was the only person in ordinary clothes, making her look even more different that her abilities made her. It also displayed the fact that the team didn't own her. In Galloway's eyes, this made her seem even more harmful to their government and military operation.

"Well," said Galloway, making no effort to hide his rage, "This brings us back to our conversation we had a week ago with the Chairman and the autobot leader, doesn't it Major?"

Major Lennox cocked his head, "How so?"

"Don't you remember?" Galloway said with an air of sarcasm, "We were discussing the reasons the Decepticons may have for remaining on Earth. We said it was for the autobots, for revenge-"

"Er, that's what you proposed," Tyrese corrected,

"My point," Galloway said sharply, "is that I was right wasn't I? The Decepticons are clearly here because of this girl, to take revenge..."

He trailed off dramatically, searching the soldiers' faces in glee, his eyes flitting back and forth in a freaky manner. He thought he was right, and what ever he would suggest to fix the problem would be the correct solution and carried out immediately.

Ruby and the soldiers stared back at Galloway; the soldiers' well trained expressions gave away nothing. Ruby folded her arms.

"Let me get this straight," she said, "You think, the enemy, who got defeated two years ago, when I was a normal girl and had no idea alien robots existed, are coming to get me as a form of revenge? I don't think so...they didn't know about me then, I would have been just another human to them. No, I think they want something – no not revenge," she shot at Galloway who opened his mouth to finish her sentence, "-more like...they're searching for something," Ruby was struggling to put her thoughts into words,

"What do you mean Ruby?" asked Tyrese.

"I think they want something from the Earth, or from me, but they are the same, and which ever they get first will do,"

"Or, maybe from both," said Lennox.

"What are you suggesting soldier?" Galloway asked warily,

"I think they want something from Ruby, or maybe Ruby herself, in order to then get something else," explain Lennox,

"Like what?" Tyrese turned his head to hone in his right ear on Lennox.

"I don't know." Lennox concluded.

Tyrese's kissed his teeth, unimpressed.

Optimus' body was covered and left on the runway, whilst Lennox, Tyrese, Ruby and the autobots tried to work out what the Decepticons were up to, and how they could stop it.

Galloway, on the other hand, thought their theories were ridiculous, and busied himself organizing the movement of assets and soldiers back to the main base, where activity would officially be shut down. Things were set for Friday.

The NEST team had just three days to figure something out.
