Dipper had just fallen asleep, along with the other's in the shack. Bill was the only person, or creature awake. He was trying to find something to do that would entertain him, but sadly nothing fit what a demon would want to do. He sighed.
Just then he heard a sound outside the shack. It sounded like someone was trying to break in or something, then he heard voices. Quiet, and hushed voices.
He and the sleeping boy were the only one's in the room, but the other two were downstairs on the couch passed out, or as well passed out, but down in the basement or the lab. It wasn't until he got downstairs he knew who these voices belonged to. Gideon, and Mabel.
"Shooting Star? What's she doing here? Isn't she supposed to be back home with their parent's?" He soon let his curiosity get the best of him, and he came out of the shadow's once they walked into the room he was in.
"Who the hell are you? The night-guard or something?! How come I never seen you before?" She questioned. "What the hell do you want? If you're lying to your brother, and breaking in the shop, then you must be up to no good!" She gasped. "How'd you know about that?! Oh well it won't matter much anymore once I'm done with you!" Her hands held a pinkish purpleish flame. Her eye's were not that of an warmhearted child, but the anger, and hate of a demon.
She aimed her fireball's at him, and kept throwing them. Bill never hit back, because he knew this wasn't the real Shooting Star. She's still in there somewhere. 'Now I'm getting all mushy and stuff! Why must I protect this human?!' Just then he was hit by another fireball, and this time he couldn't help but to fight back. With him being stronger, and knowing more spell's he was able to defet her without doing much to hurt her.
"But how?! You're only human! Unless...Who are you, and why do you seem so familiar?" The girl questioned. "Wow, Shooting Star. I must say I'm hurt. 5 year's passed, and you already forgot me?" She gasped, as well as Gideon. "Bill Cipher." They both said the same time.
"What the fuck do you want?!" Gideon yelled, almost waking up everyone in the house. Bill sighed. "What I want is you gone! You know Shooting Star, I guess you were right. I guess I am the new night-guard if Pine Tree's living under this roof." He said. That made her blood run cold. "What do you want with my brother?! He won't ever make a deal with you, you stupid triangle!"
This made him happy for how clueless she was. "He didn't, but yes he is stuck with me. You're really clueless aren't you? You hurt him. Broke his heart, when you decided you wanted power, you avoided him. Left him behind, and brought this little pain with. I actually was there when you weren't. You ruined your relationship with him yourself. I didn't do that. All of that was you, Shooting Star."
By then she had tears streaming down her face. She then left with Gideon following, close behind. Bill walked back upstairs to check on the sleeping Dipper. Once he seen that he was still sleeping very peacefully he decided he would have to tell him what just happened. He woke the sleeping teen up, and told him everything. Then after he was don Dipper spoke.
"Why? Why did she do that. So You think she's a demon?" he asked. "I don't know kid. All I know is something's wrong with Shooting Star, and we'll find out what." Bill reassured the boy.
The next day came sooner than expected. Bill was just sitting around in the dusty old attic, while Dipper was working in the shop. For some reason, he hated to be separated from the boy. He had this weird feeling that, made him always want to be with the boy.
He brushed it aside, because of course demons don't have feeling's. Do they? No it was just something he ate some years ago, and it was starting to effect now, since he was in a human form. That's it! That must be. How could a cold Hearted monster have feelings?
"That's insane!" Bill said out loud. "What's insane?" Dipper asked. Bill froze, he didn't know he had came into the room. "Oh um, nothing! Just talking to myself! I'm board, when are you done with your shift?" Dipper pondered the question. "Another two hours. Why?" Bill grinned. "Meet me by the edge of the forest when your shift is over! Ok!" With that the demon was gone, leaving behind a confused Pine Tree. ~ <3
