Google's POV
"You need to hide, now!" She whisper yells and moves out of my arms. I grumble, but move anyway. I think of all the possible hiding places as Andy turns the shower off. Not the closet or under the bed, those are the first places anyone looks. I look around and see the window. I move to it and part the curtains, I easily open it and a slight wind blows in, making the curtains sway.
"Google," I turn around, Andy throws a shirt to me and I catch it, "put a shirt on." I grin at her still blushing face and do as she says. I lift myself onto the window sill and look down, not too high to drop down
"There's a shed out back, you can hide in there," Andy says to me, "and be careful." I look at her and smile.
"Don't you worry," I reassure her, "I will." She smiles back and nods, leaving the room. I hear her go down and open the door to greet Ryan, and I wait until he enters the house. The door closes and I lean out the window and drop down two stories. I land in a crouch on the grass out front with a soft thud. I quickly move to the back of the house and see the shed. I head for it and open the shed door as quietly as possible. I enter and close it carefully behind me. I look around at my surroundings; shelves of wires and mechanical parts. Then I see a small shrine at the back. I walk towards it and see a framed picture of a man in a military uniform. I pick it up and look closely at the man, my eyes widen, I recognise him.
"William J. Redwood," I say quietly to myself.
Andy's late father.
I put the picture down carefully and notice a chocolate bar next to it, with a brand that I don't recognise. I pick it up and scan it.
It's a brand that was made in 1980.
"Wow..." I whisper. 141 years since it was first manufactured.
But this bar is brand new, I wonder where she gets them...
The shed door suddenly opens behind me and I quickly put the bar down and turn around.
Andy's POV
You give Google a tight lipped smile and close the door behind yourself. You take a deep breath and go downstairs. You go to the front door and open it. You're greeted with the back of Ryan confidently standing there in his dark suit. He turns to face you and the look on his face is a mix of shock and relief.
"Andy!" He exclaims and envelopes you in a hug. You hug him back, but not as strong as him. He moves back and holds you at arms length, looking you over with concern.
"You're alright," he says with relief and closes his eyes briefly, the worry leaving him.
"Yeah, I'm fine, it's okay," you say and pat his arm affectionately. He suddenly tenses and looks at you intensely.
"Where is he?" He asks you and lets go of your arms to look around the house.
"Ryan!" You yell, closing the door as you turn to go after him. You catch up to him near the stairs and grab his arm.
"He's back to normal!" You shout and Ryan turns around.
"That doesn't matter, he could have hurt you!" He shouts back.
"But he didn't!...he actually did the opposite..." you say and look away from him, blushing slightly. Ryan's eyes widen and he points at you.
"You mean...you guys had s-"
"No! No, we didn't!" You yell and blush, more embarrassed, "we didn't go that far..." Ryan gives you a look.
"But still, he could have hurt you, he's malfunctioning remember," Ryan says and looks up the stairs, "is he up there?" You shake your head at him and sigh.
"Can you promise not to attack him or shut him down or anything?" You ask him, " because he wants to be fixed as much as we want him to." Ryan looks at you with pursed lips, then sighs.
"If he goes crazy and tries to hurt you, I'll shut him down, but other than that I promise not to do anything." He replies and you smile at him.
"Ok, I'll go get him, you stay here," you say to him and let go of his arm, but he takes hold of it before you can run off.
"No way, I'm coming with you, just in case," he says to you with that stubborn look he has.
No point arguing with him.
You sigh.
"Okay then," you reply to him and he lets go of your arm. You go to the door, open it and move out back to the shed. You open the shed door and see Google put something down and turn around.
