Hey guys! I am planning on writing three or four more chapters after this one. It's almost over. I know it started out kind of rocky and I'm glad that most of you stuck with me throughout the book. Strangers POV
I stood by the window, watching Jennifer tear up from Alex proposing. That should've been me. I'm her mate, not that filthy scumbag! I felt eyes watching me, and I looked up. I saw one of the pack members standing at a window, staring in awe at me.
I ran away, not wanting anybody to see me, other than that pack member. I sighed. Why couldn't Jennifer just forgive and forget....
I ran back into the woods, shifting midair. I ran, faster than I ever had. I had to get back to my pack, before that pack member told the alpha I was here... I ran into a small wolf, but kept running, in fear of getting caught. I ran until I got to the pack base. I ran into the Alpha.
"Where have you been? Did you get the girl?" I shamefully shook my head. He growled, and said,"Since you can't do anything, I'll just have to send Daniel..."
