                                                       *Your POV*

Few days after // 1pm

"But how could I even hang out with someone like that?!" I twiddled my pencil in-between my fingers, chatting with my friend Maria about the mysterious guy I had lunch with yesterday. "Y-you did see the videos right?"

"Those were pretty weird. But maybe that's just his Youtube persona, he's not like that in real life-- is he?" She obnoxiously popped a bubble of gum, her voice going up at the end of the question.

"No.." I sighed. "Well... now that I think about it ... he kinda does! Why else would he and his 'posse' be playing around in a grocery store. That's what they acted like on video" I scribble on a blank piece of lined paper.

"Did they have any camera's out?" She pretended to read.

"No!" I whisper-shouted, watching the leather-skinned librarian giving us harsh stares.

"K, maybe he just..." She popped another bubble, "You should just give him a chance (Y/N), plus it'll get your mind off of your ex".

"What? I don't want to date him Maria. He's just-"

"Cmon, you've been talking about him for like 10 minutes straight"

"Okay, what would you do if you met a guy in public, pretty nice, kinda cute; right?"

She looked up from the thick book, and curved a brow.

"Okay.. and what if you found out he was a COMPLETE weirdo. Would you still keep in touch?"

"Depends, gotta take a test drive before you buy the car" She smirks.

"God you're a slut" I roll my eyes, with a loose chuckle.

"SHHHH!" The librarian squints holding a finger to her cracked lips.

"Okay, why are we here in the first place- pretending to study?" Maria closed the book, making an echoey slap throughout the library. "This is our last term, we're going to be out of college in a couple weeks! We should be out partying with dumb frat boys, not talking in a boring ol' library".

I look around, and let out a dramatic exhale, "You know what?" I toss my pencil, "You're right, lets get out of this place" I gave my famous smiley/rebellious grin, sliding out of my barely cushioned chair.

"Ooo, I have an idea." Maria left the building with me as we entered the car, "Party. At my lake house"

"You mean your parents lake house?" I raise an eyebrow, tossing a cheeky smile and started the car.

"Ugh, you know what I mean. I'll invite a ton of people! I always throw the best parties, remember that one time-"

"In high school where the cops were called because someone started fireworks inside!?" I burst out into a childish laughter, as did Maria.

"Exactly! Lets go for 9 tonight. Shopping?"

"Duh"

8:57 pm

"Do I look okay?" I pull on my thigh-high, backless white party dress and stare at my fixed makeup and hair in a mirror.

"You're literally EVERYTHING!" She shrieks, looking at her phone. "Okay okay," she pushes me aside, "Now how do I look?" She puckered up her full, burgundy colored lips.

I nodded, staring at her long, wavy, mahogany hair, a black version of my dress stuck to her curves, "You look amazing!" I returned the compliment.
