"Wait! You did what?" Auba yelled, laughter coming from everyone else at the table including him. His banged his fists at the table, laughing, causing the plates, glasses of water, and utensils to clank with each other.

"I told you," Hanne said calmly, being the only person not laughing but embarassed because they were laughing at what she had done a few years ago. "I bit the chocolate coin with the foil still on and said, 'Wow, this is really weird. This is popular in America? What the hell?' I'm not stupid, I just... didn't understand."

Didn't understand was the correct term to describe what Hanne was feeling when Marco invited her to dinner with a few of the guys from the team. I mean, who the hell invites the photographer to a dinner?

But then she realized, everyone except Marco thinks that Erik and her dating thanks to social media. They've purposely put him and her next to each other at the table, obviously to tease the poor boy who didn't mean for any of this to happen. It was a joke! Well, kind of.

"Erik," Julian said in between laughs, "your girlfriend is a keeper."

Of course she is. Who wouldn't want to date Hanne Leijerzapf? Okay, that was his opinion.

But it's funny because of the situation, they aren't being affectionate with each other as everyone expected. Her hands were folded in her lap, and his hands were on the table. No part of them were touching each other. Unless they were fiddling each other with their legs, which as hell is not happening.

"I know right," Erik said, grinning and looking to his left at Hanne who was muffling a cough in her elbow. "I'm a lucky man."

He wishes they were dating.

"Weigl, I know you think that was a joke but it wasn't, so shut your damn mouth," she spat out at Julian who was sitting at the other end of the table laughing yet again from what she said, his plate cleaned off with the exception of a few smears of sauce and crumbs.

"America changed you, Hanne," Marco said, shaking his head like she had done something disappointing.

As if a twin brother and a youth team full of boys, wasn't enough for her get annoyed as she possibly could get, she had a team of grown men to photograph.

"You wanna fight, Marco? First, I didn't even know you back then!" she exclaimed, coughing into her elbow once more. "And second, your girlfriend spent more years in there than I did, so why are you trying to attack me?"

Everyone at the table was trying to attack Hanne by laughing at her mistakes and trying to make her angry by being so sarcastic about lies that aren't true. This obviously wasn't the reason she went along with the dinner or why Marco invited her. It was suppost to be a casual dinner, but now they were acting like fourteen year olds, making confusing jokes and laughing at nothing.

"So guys, what do you think of the weather out there?" Mats asked, gesturing to the dark sky out the windows.

Hanne mentally face palmed herself.

"A bit chilly, don't you think?" Matthias said, and the sentence almost made her want to stand up and walk away from the table. "It did rain last night."

"I think it's little warmer than it usually is." This time Auba said that, causing everyone but Hanne to snicker.

Sigh. Boys.

She took her glass of water and drank what was her fourth glass of the night like she had finished a bike ride to her home. As she put the glass down, she rubbed her eyes and let out a small groan of weariness.
