It was apparent that Hanne didn't feel too good at this time of the night. She had felt good enough to go to this dinner hours ago, but now it just  deteriorated as the night went on. All of the water she asked for, the coughing, the drowsiness, the stuffy feeling in her head, she doesn't get why no one has even noticed this earlier.

"Hanne, are you okay?" Erik asked, his hand on her shoulder as he looked at her with concern. "You were really uncomfortable, I thought there was something wrong."

Wow, they really can pass off as a couple, can they?

"Yeah, it's just... yeah." She sniffled right after that, causing him to furrow his eyebrows at her.

"You two are so cute together," Mats commented from the other end of the table. "How did Erik get the courage to go ask her out on a date and then to be his girlfriend?

Marco gives Erik the You better not fuck up or else we're never going to trust you ever again look from across the table, going completely unnoticed by Hanne who was trying to stop herself going into a coughing fit.

He sighs. A lie not meant to be taken seriously could be the end of the world for him if he doesn't  make up something believable that's doesn't sound weak. "Well... I walked up to her one day and introduced myself. Then the next day, I asked her out. Now we're dating. The end."

His supposed girlfriend mentally face palms herself as she heard the explanation come from his lips. It wasn't until well after that Erik realized that both Hanne and Marco looked disappointed.

Well, he was never good at explaining things anyway.

Marcel spoke up. "That was, uh..." cough, "very broad, Erik."

"It is," agrees Hanne, who is literally on the very edge of bursting into a coughing fit like she had choked on water. "Really, very broad, yes."

She places her hand on her chest, and heaves as she looks down at the carpet floor of the restaurant. She really should have stayed home. But she never listens, does she?

"I'm going to—" she scoots out of her chair, standing up not far above everyone else due to her short height of 5'0, "I'm going to go home now. I don't feel too good, and I think I might be sick."

Erik stands up from his chair as well, facing her. "I'll drive you home. We took my car here anyways."

At the moment, Hanne didn't think of how couple-like this seemed, and only thought of how nice it was that Erik would offer to to drive her home even if she is about to be in a coughing pit, stuck in bed.

"Thank you," she says, looking ath through the stray strands of hair in her face, smiling.

"Aw, Hanne, I wish you were able to go with us to away matches," Matthias said. "Everything would be more fun, and Erik wouldn't be cramped up in his hotel room."

The team was going to Ingolstadt tomorrow for a match, and Hanne had never been with the team for away matches. She'd usually done her job here in Dortmund since she is their photographer.

"Actually," she spoke up, "I am. The head of my department told me to go and take pictures of you guys there."

A small light bulb lit up in Erik's head.
