Your P.O.V.
You sat on your bed and looked around at all the boxes that filled up your room. Wow you're actually heading off to college. It was all going by way too fast. You wished everything would just slow down. Just a couple of months ago college was all you cared about. You couldn't wait to go but now you want to stay. Why did Peter have to come in and make everything complicated? Your head buried itself into your hands. Maybe you should start college in the fall instead of the summer? You sighed as you realized you didn't know what to do. Then your phone started ringing and your hand shot over to pick it up.
"Hello?"
"Hey girl, have you got everything packed?"
"Yeah..."
"Are you okay?"
"Yes, Natalie."
"Okay.. I guess I'll see you tomorrow.."
"Okay see you then."
Then you hung up the phone and laid down on your bed. Your eyes closed in thought. The last few months of school you were really slacking on your schoolwork. Mostly because you were getting it done as quickly as possible so you could go over and hang out with Peter. Why didn't that happen when we just friends with Peter? You guys hang out just as much as you did before you were dating. Then you heard your door open and you peaked over to see who it was.
"Natalie? What are you doing here?"
You sat up on your bed in confusion. She slightly smiled before settling down next to you.
"Something is wrong and I want to know what."
"It's just that.. I'm confused.."
"About?"
"All I ever wanted to do was do good in school and go to college, but now I don't want to go."
"Because?"
"I don't know..."
"Yes you do."
She put her arm around you shoulder in comfort.
"No I don't"
"It's Peter, y/n."
You sighed before shoving your head into your hands.
"Y/n it's not a bad thing that you fell in love."
"I didn't think it was going to get in the way of my plans or anything."
"You can still start in the fall you know, and spend more time with Peter?"
You lifted your head up and gave her a serious look.
"That's the thing, Natalie getting a head start in college would be great for my future and I'm about to throw it away from some guy!"
"He's not just some guy y/n, he's more than that and you know it."
"He's the love of my life... I just wish I had met him later in life..."
"You don't control when you meet your soulmate."
"Yeah I know, but I just don't know what to do."
"Just listen to your heart."
"What?"
"It helps you make decisions, trust me."
"Okay, Natalie."
You rolled your eyes as she gave you a quick side hug.
"Just do it, okay? I'm going to go hang out with Brody, will you be fine?"
"I should be, thank you for coming over."
