"Do we need some sort of closure.. or something?" Jace asked.
"Or something," Max said.
"I don't get it," Chad frowned.
"Don't you guys think you should go to college?" May asked.
The boys all looked at her and May raised her hands up as if she were a deer caught in the headlights.
"Don't look at me, I'm stating a fact here.""Are you telling me I'm stupid?" Chad feigned hurt, putting a hand up against his chest.
"There's no use telling you when you clearly are," Max said in a casual tone.
Chad gasped dramatically.
"You wound me.""Glad to know," Max smirked.
Chad glared at Max and grumbled under his breath, saying something along the lines of "not being appreciated enough" and "stabbing Max with a straw".
"No but seriously though, why aren't you guys in college yet?" May asked.
"I don't know, why aren't you in school right now?" Chad shot back.
"Touché."
"Wait, why aren't you in school?" Max asked, looking at May sternly.
"Hey, I don't control the story, alright? If the author doesn't want to write about me going to school, then I ain't complaining," May said, shrugging.
"Oh my god, the fourth wall!" Chad exclaimed, throwing his hands up.
"Fourth wall? What fourth wall?" Jace asked.
"Soooo, what do we do now? I mean, I don't see what else there is to like, talk about or something," May said.
"I think the author had some sort of idea for this epilogue but she probably procrastinated too much until she just forgot what she'd planned," Alec said, and the others looked at him in awe at how he had just figured it out.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it!" Chad exclaimed.Chad got up and walked towards the door to open it while the others waited.
"Isn't he taking a bit too long?" Max asked. The others simply shrugged.
The door slammed shut, making them jump.
"What the hell," Alec mumbled.
When Chad came into view, he looked as if he'd just seen a ghost.
Probably a really good-looking ghost too because his face was flushed and his expression was a mix of shock and embarrassment."Chad, what the hell? Who was at the door?" Max asked.
"Shit," Chad whispered.
"What? Are you telling us that "poop" was at the door? I don't get it," Jace said, furrowing his eyebrows.
"No, shit. Oh my god, I think I just slammed the door right in her face," Chad said.
"Who, dammit!" May let out.
The doorbell rang again.
May sighed. "I'll get it."
May walked over towards the door, opening and coming face to face with Eloria.
"Oh, it's you." May said.
"No shit, Sherlock," Eloria rolled her eyes."What are you doing here?" May asked.
Eloria shrugged. "I don't know, probably a cameo appearance for this chapter since the author is desperate. Oh, and for the record, I did not come here to get the door slammed right in my face after two minutes of being ogled," she said.
