Jungkook's POV:
It's been two weeks since Kana's been in the hospital. I visit her everyday. The doctors say she's regaining her strength and she should be out by the end of the week.
I walked into her room. She was asleep. I heard her sniffle. I walked. Closer and saw tears were tumbling down her face. "Kana." I called out to her quietly. She didn't answer. She was crying in her sleep. I placed my hands on her shoulders. "Kana wake up."
She fluttered her eyes open and wiped her tears. "Jungkook tell me you love me!" I looked at her taken back by her sudden outburst.
"Kana I love you so much." I kissed her forehead and grabbed her hands. "Why did you need to hear that?" I asked curiously.
"I had a dream, more like a nightmare. You left me for good. You loved Minah and not me." She started crying again. I wiped her tears with my thumbs.
"Kana, I do love you. I'm sorry for ever hurting you. I see you as my own emotional body guard in a way. But I was to blinded by my own sorrow. I wasn't there for you. I wasn't there to be your body guard and I'm sorry Kana. I love you so much." I rested my forehead against hers and shut my eyes.
"I forgive you Jungkook. You promise me you won't leave me." I opened my eyes. She smiled at me as she held her pinky out. I locked our pinkies and smiled.
"I promise."
There was a knock on the door before it opened. I turned my head and saw a nurse. "Miss Katua, your therapist is here to see you."
"Okay send her in." Kana replied. I looked at her and gave her a quick kiss.
"I'll see you later I love you, Bye."
"Bye I love you too." I left the room and headed to my car. I'm so happy things with Kana and I are almost back to normal.
As I approached my car I saw someone sitting on my hood. "Yah! What are you doing!?" The person turned her head, it was Minah.
"Hey love."
"Don't call me that."
"Why not we are meant to be." She smiled sickly.
"No! I don't love you! I love Kana!" Her smile quickly disappeared, she stride towards me.
"Why her!? Why not me!? I've loved you since the day I met you! Then this new girl comes and steals you away!" There were tears in her eyes. I felt bad I couldn't just let her cry. I slowly walked towards her and brought her into a hug.
"Don't cry Minah. You're a pretty girl, and you're pretty smart. You'll find someone way better than me, trust me. And between me and you Sehun likes you." I whispered to her. "Didn't you use to like Sehun? I'm sure if you start liking him again you'll get together with him."
She looked up at me and smiled, tears staining her face. "Really?" She sniffled. I nodded my head. "Thanks, I'm sorry for everything. I'll leave you alone now." She walked towards her car.
I ran my fingers through my hair as I entered my car. I started the engine and drove off.
Kana's POV:
I got home from the hospital yesterday. The doctor said I'm healthy and my therapist said I'm better.
I got ready for school. To be honest I've missed school. Karina wrote notes for me so I'm pretty much caught up.
I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I went to my closet to pick out an outfit. I decided to wear and light pink cold-shoulder crop top, light blue jeans, and white Vans.
"Kana! Jungkook's here to pick you up!" Karina yelled. I grabbed my stuff and ran downstairs.
"Good morning beautiful." I smiled at him.
"Morning Kookie." We got into his car. As we started driving to school my stomach started twisting in knots.
I was afraid of how the other students will treat me, I know that everyone knows. I stared at him until I noticed a bruise on his neck.
"What's that from?" I pointed to it.
"My dad was angry I came home late last night. " Jungkook answered. I looked down sadly.
We got to school. Jungkook parked the car and we both got out. He held my hand tightly as we walked towards the others. "Hey Kana!" Baekhyun ran up to me and gave me a hug. "How are you feeling?"
I sighed before answering. "I feel better, I'm just a little nervous to come back to school."
I walked towards our usual group, with Jungkook on my arm. As we approached them I saw Minah clinging onto Sehun. They were flirting playfully and kissing each other. I gave Nina a weird look before looking back at them. "They're together now." She whispered. I just laughed and turned to Jungkook. I smiled at him as he kissed my forehead.
The school bell rang. We got into class, I felt everyone's eyes on me as I walked to my seat. "Okay class we will start out presentations today, first off is Haneul." The teacher announced. Haneul is one of Minah's friends.
She stood up and walked to the front of the class. She gave me a smug look before starting her presentations. "My presentation is on suicide. A lot of people attempt to commit suicide for attention. There is a student in our class right now that attempting to commit suicide for attention." I clenched my fist. What does she know!? She doesn't know anything!
I ran out the classroom. If I stayed any longer I would've said something that I shouldn't say. I went to the roof and just sat there. I starred down at the school. I heard the door open but I didn't make any move to turn my head.
"Are you okay?" Jungkook asked as he sat besides me and wrapped his arm around me.
"Yeah I'm fine, but that was wrong if her. She shouldn't have said that, especially since she doesn't know the full story." I gritted through my teach.
"Yeah I know, as soon as you left I yelled at her. Now the teacher is writing her up." He giggled. I smiled, I love hearing him laugh.
"Kana." He spoke. I looked over at him. He used one of his hands to caress my cheek. "I won't let anyone or anything else hurt you. I'll protect you, I'll always be there for you." He wholeheartedly smiled at me, I could hear how much love he has for me in his voice. "I love you so much Katua Kana." I smiled.
"I love you to, and I know you'll protect me, because you're my bodyguard."
