"Carl? Babe what's wrong? You never look at me while we have sex anymore." Enid says, sounded like a 8 year old who didn't get a Barbie doll for Christmas.

"I'm just.. Not in the mood, okay? Just drop it already."

"Is this about Y/n again? Is she all you ever think about?"

"No." Yes.

"Well, good. Your dating me, not her."

"Unfortunately." I mumble, annoyed.

"What was that?" Enid sneers, glaring at me with her green eyes.

"Um.. I love you?" I stutter out, my sentence sounding more like a question than an answer.

"I love you too." Enid says, kissing my cheek lovingly. Once she gets dressed and exits the room, I wipe my cheek in disgust. I put on my clothes and shoes, and I go outside. I see Y/n exit her room as well, stretching her arms. She must've been taking a nap. She looks over to me and smiles, waving. I wave back, giving her a shy smile.

Y/n and me were never close, I used to stare at her all the time when she was playing with Sophia and Kendal, and I even stare at her more now that she's gone through puberty.

But, it's not just her looks that are captivating. It's her in general.

She's so sweet. Even after she lost her sister and Daryl got taken by Negan, she's still kind to everybody. She was even kind to Ron before he- well, got stabbed by Michonne. (I ship Rarl sm)

I'm not even surprised Ron had a crush on her, or even Mikey.

Can't believe I ended up being stuck with Enid.

I decide to leave a letter on Maggie's doorstep, a letter that I've been meaning to give Y/n for a very long time.

I place the letter on the porch, and walk away, making sure I'm not seen by Enid.

Y/n's pov

I look out the window, as I cradle baby Gwen in my arms. I see Carl place a note on the doorstep, and then he speed walks back to his house. Is that meant for Maggie? He was probably sent by Rick to drop it off.

I open the door and pick up the note, opening it.

I hide my emotions in the surface and pretend,

But it feels like there's oceans between you and me.
