Broken Girl ? Sam Golbach ?

Madilyn's POV
Today had been the worst so far. I've been getting weaker and I'm worried that I'm not ever going to get out of here.

Being dead would be better than this.

"Have you had any water today?"the doctor asks coming into the room.

I shake my head.

"And why not?"he asks sitting down.

"Because I've been too lazy to move,"I explain.

"It's on the table right next to you,"he chuckles.

"I know,"I say.

"Well, you have to drink some,"he says.

"I know,"I nod and reach over to grab the glass. I sit up slowly getting a little dizzy along the way. I take a couple sips then put the glass back onto the table then lay back down.

"Good, now I have to go take care of another patient,"he says and I nod as he leaves.

I'm better off dead. I need to die this is way worse then death.

Sam's POV
I'm currently at the store trying to find two nice bouquets of flowers for Madilyn. I want her to have them in her hospital room on the tables next to her so that whenever to turns to her side she'll look at them and then think of me.

After trying to decide for what seemed like forever I end up picking red roses and orchids. I go to the check out and give the cashier the flowers.

"Ok your total is $40,"she says.

My eyes nearly pop out of my head,"$40?"

"Yes,"she nods.

"Ok..."I trail off then take out my wallet and hand her the money. She hands me the flowers and smiles,"have a nice day."

"You too,"she says.

As I'm walking out of the store my phone goes off. I take it out of my pocket and my moms caller ID shows up.

"Hey mom,"I answer.

"Sam, you need to go to the hospital right now,"my mom says.

"Yeah I am. I'm on my way now to give  Madilyn some flowers,"I explain getting into the car.

"Ok hurry,"she says.

"Why?"I ask but she hangs up.

What this hell is happening?

I hope Madilyn's ok.

Oh god something happened to her that's why my mom told me to go to the hospital

Oh fuck, God please let her be ok

I drive as fast as I can but try not to crash. Drives honk at me as I pass when I'm not supposed to but I just flip them off.

I finally see the hospital parking lot and pull in and find a parking spot. I grab the flowers and rush into the hospital. I pass everyone in my way and ignore the people at the front desk asking me who I'm visiting. I rush into her room and see a bunch of doctors scurrying around.

"What's going on?"I ask.

"She tried to commit suicide,"one of the doctors tell me.

"Is she going to be ok?"I ask.

God please

"We're trying everything to keep her alive but she heart beat is slowing down by the minute,"another doctor tells me.

Shit shit, please, Lord save her

Then everything goes silent except the heart monitor making a high pitched steady beep.

No

"We lost her,"one of the doctors says.

No this can't be happening

"Is t- there anyway to b- bring her back?"I ask sobbing.

"I'm sorry sir there isn't,"a doctor says.

"No!"I cry.

I can't believe she's gone

Run out of the hospital with the flowers still in my hands. I get into my care place the flowers on the passenger seat. I just sit there and cry not caring if anyone sees me.

"She's gone. My everything is gone,"I cry to myself.

She was the only thing that made my life good and she was the only thing that could make me smile.

"Why did you take her Lord? You knew how much she meant to me. It's too soon for her to be gone. She still had a whole life to live but now she can't because you took her! Why did you take her from me?"I sob.

I hate my life this is not fair!

I stop crying a little and start driving home.

My precious is gone

You should've taken me not her!

Once I get home I run up to my room and just cry until I end up falling asleep.

I can't believe she's gone
My everything is gone
My precious is gone
Lord, why?
