How Did We End Up Here?

Megan's POV
"Then he said 'maybe we have no future' and I was like 'maybe we don't' then I kicked him out. He told me he loved me, but all I said was goodbye." I sighed.

"Look on the bright side, this might be the last time you ever have to see his face again." Riley reassured me.

"Yeah, I don't want it to be though. I still have feelings for him." I said.

"Well, it doesn't sound like an official break up." Riley said. "Maybe you should go talk to him."

"I don't think I can." I cried.

"He obviously still has deep feelings for you Megan. You should talk to him." Riley said.

"What if I don't want to be with him and risk another goodbye," I wiped my eyes.

"Love is about taking risks. Jumping into the unknown and seeing where you fall. Megan, Calum loves you! Can't you see, he has even said it to your face. If you feel the same way just tell him." Riley said.

"I can't." I said.

"Why freaking not." Riley said.

"I'm afraid of falling in love, because falling means you are going to hit the ground at some point and the further you fall the harder the ground." I explained.

"If he truly loves you, he will catch you before you hit the ground." Riley said. I sighed. "I thought you were crazy in love with him. You told me while we were in the corn." She smiled.

"I did?" I guess I did. At that moment I knew I loved him. Why can't I just tell him that's how I feel. Am I struggling between who I think he is and who he really is? Is he really very different from who I want him to be. My mind is racing. Is this what it feels like to be in love. Do you just know? I don't know. But the feeling is here.

Riley's POV
"Hey, we ran into a bummed Cal downstairs, what's up?" Paige said walking through the door.

"Megan thinks they may have broken up, but she isn't sure." I said.

"Oh, I'm sorry Megan." Paige came over and gave her a hug.

"It's cool." Megan sniffed.

"Ok, I know this will cheer you up. We are going to Disneyworld! Austin and Luke set it all up." Paige excitedly said.

"Austin?" I asked.

"Yeah, it was Austins idea and Luke sort of tagged along. OMG guys you need to come downstairs and meet Marvin!" Paige squealed.

"Who is Marvin?" Megan asked.

"You'll see!" Paige said. "Moms downstairs waiting too, so we should grab our bags and head out." We picked up our bags and went down.

"Megan, Cal is down here, are you alright?" Paige asked.

"Yeah, I should be fine." Megan said.

We walked into the lobby and there was Calum holding a little golden retriever puppy.

"Oh my, cuteness!" I said looking at the puppy.

"Well thanks I take that as a complement." Calum said with a big smile.

"Not you doofus. This little puppy, where did you get it?" I asked.

"This little guy is Luke and Paige's puppy Marvin. I'm so jealous of them. Puppies make me happy no matter what. I mean look at this face." Calum shoved Marvin in my face and he started licking me.

"Oh, doggy kisses. My favorite. But wait, it's your two guys dog? Isn't that like a huge commitment?" I said.

"Yeah, but I like to think we are pretty committed people." Luke said and they intertwined fingers.

"Here's my nephew," Michael said. "I'm not the biggest dog fan, but puppies are undeniably adorable."

"Cats are sooo much better." I said.

"I know cats are just so cool and fun and chill," Michael said.

"Stop, Marvin has ears and he is offended by what you are saying." Calum said.

"I think he will be fine." Michael said.

"So I guess we are all here now, I think we were heading back to your guys place on the way to Disney, so you can grab more clothes and stuff. Then we are roadtripping down to Florida. We have a charter bus, okay it's our tour bus, but I think there is enough room for all 9 of us." Luke said.

"All 9 of us?" I asked.

"Alan and Austin are coming with us of course." Luke said. Austin is coming, I forgot and we have a 24 hour bus ride together. This could be much worse right.

"Do we have to stop at their house?" Calum asked.

"Yes." Paige said.

"Hey guys, thanks for leaving me upstairs to bring everything down." Ashton said rolling one of those suitcase carts.

"You are most welcome Ashton." Michael said.

"Bleh, so is everyone ready?" Ashton asked.

"Ready as we will ever be." Calum said.

"Oh, my gosh! Is this Marvin? Give him to me." Ashton said.

"No way, Luke said I could hold him." Calum said.

"This is going to be a long ride." Megan said.
It will be.

"Hey friends." Austin said from behind me. "I see we are about to load up for Disney. Alan is on his way down. We should start putting stuff away." Oh man Austin.
