Magi: A Tale of a New Beginning

Azami's POV

It had been five days ever since the war ended. Right now, we were sailing a ship from Magnostadt to Sindria.

A lot had changed since then. Magnostadt's citizens lived a life where they don't rely on magic too much. Reim also had a new magi which was Titus; Sphintus' family also helped in aiding the sick while Aladdin was in his room, writing to Ugo.

Lucien and I were on the deck, watching the waves while I thought of what happened during the war. The dark entity remained and the kings of each country already had knowledge upon Alma Torran. I still had Sinbad and Kouen to take care. Sinbad scared me the most. The other entity I felt within him was slowly showing itself and I still have no clue what it was. Kouen, he kept on sending his rukh to me using their magic tool and demanded a one-on-one talk with him.

'What did I do to deserve this!?'

"Azami-sama, we're here." Lucien whispered behind me.

"Huh?" I was pulled out of my trance and saw the same bright country. We finally reached it. Setta came out of his room and tackled me in a hug. Aladdin, Morgiana and Alibaba quickly jumped down the docks and were greeted by Sinbad's General, Pisti.

"Long time no see, Alibaba, Aladdin, Morgiana! Oh? Azami and Setta too! Wait? I don't know him? Who's he?" She asked in glee.

I introduced Lucien and he bowed down in courtesy. He insisted on wearing his cloak which made him look a little intimidating. Pisti commented on how they will have a Jafar-Spartos combi in the house. That made us sweatdrop.

From her pocket, she pulled out a flower necklace and welcomed us. The rest of the generals came and greeted us as well. We chatted amongst ourselves although, I stayed mostly near Lucien and Setta since I was still a little weary. I saw Pisti looking at Aladdin carefully before shouting just how he was as tall as her now. We laughed at her predicament.

"Well Setta, you're taller than the two of them by an inch right?" I asked the purple haired magician beside me. He huffed with a proud look on his face. Pisti pouted at all of us before rushing back to Spartos' side. Sinbad, Ja'far and Masrur came not so soon.

"Welcome back. Are you hurt? We heard everything from Sin when he returned home before you." Ja'far said. Sinbad was snickering in the background while jabbing Masrur. I could see a perverted look on his face. I was now convinced that he was a pervert.

"Hey Masrur, look! Morgiana is quite a beautiful woman now, right?" Masrur agreed but he was still as stoic as ever. Alibaba conversed with Sinbad about the upcoming summit two months from now. I was worried to be honest.

Setta nudged me and I took our things before telling Sinbad that we will be leaving now to find an inn.

"Eh? You're not coming with us?" He asked.

"It's too much. You already let us here in your country plus, I think Lucien would like it much better if we find a less populated area." I smiled at him. Lucien bowed lightly as if to say that I was right. Setta didn't mind at all and wanted to spend time with Lucien. I noticed that for a short period of time, those two got along so well.

I bid my goodbye to Aladdin and the others before passing by a familiar group of people.

'Oh! That's Orba and aren't those the Pirates we fought long ago? Guess they changed huh? I could feel the light in their rukhs.'

"Azami-nee! There's an inn over there! Let's go!" Setta said. I ran towards them and we quickly ordered a room. We chose a big room with a bathroom. We didn't want to use the public one. Who knows if there were some sneaky thieves around here. The room was painted in cream while the door was a polished mahogany. The beds were soft and I could tell that they have good service around here.
