Lisa's POV
The boys are now getting ready to turn 8 years old, hunter is 5, Isabelle is 3 and Micah is 2...my babies are growing up on me! I have to plan for the twins birthday party, and I decided to ask them on what they wanted to do, so I went to their room and seen they were working on their schoolbooks..
"Hey guys you can take a break" I said and they looked at me
"I wanna talk to you guys" I said
"About what?" Ryan asked
"What do you guys wanna do for your birthday?" I asked and they look at each other
"Just dinner" Jacob said
"Yea" Ryan agreed and I just looked at them
"So you guys don't want to have a birthday party?" I asked and Ryan looked at me
"No.." he said and I was surprised what kid doesn't want a birthday party
"Why?" I asked
"We don't want a party, we just want to be with you and dad" Jacob said as he started drawing, he's been really artistic here lately and Ryan has been into sports totally two different personalities
"Okay, if that's what you guys want" I said and walked downstairs
"Hmm" I said and Andrew heard me
"What's wrong?" He said
"I just asked the boys what they wanted to do for their birthday and they said they didn't want a party, just wanna be with us" I said and raise his eyebrows
"Hey nothing wrong with that, saves us money" he said and I hit him
"Ow" he said
"Andrew, they are kids, a birthday party should be a big deal for them" I said and he looked at me
"Come on, they will end up wanting one, besides what are we getting them for their birthday anyway?" He asked and I spoked
"Well Jacob has been really into drawing so I was thinking of getting him a canvas with a art kit with pain, markers, and everything, and Ryan, he's been into baseball a lot, so I was thinking a hit a way so he can practice outside without you having to pitch to him all the time, and for both, they both want new games for their game station" I said and he nodded
"Sounds good! They'll love it" he said and I smiled, it still breaks me that neither of them wants a birthday party, It's unusual for kids to not want a birthday party
"You okay babe?" Andrew asked me and I looked at him
"Uh yeah, I'm gonna get started on dinner" I said as I got up and started cooking, but I had an idea, maybe if the boys had a surprise party, they would realize of how much they wanted a party after all and I heard crying which caught me off my thoughts and it sounded like Micah, he got mad because he got stuck in behind a chair while walking around the kitchen
"You goofball, don't walk behind there" I said and he just smiled at me with his paci in his mouth and ran up to me and I picked him up and kissed his cheek, and continued holding him while I cooked, I'm gonna figure out something about the boys birthday, I'm not gonna stop with the birthday parties, not yet.
