Music. That's what mattered most to you, it was your favorite thing in the world, besides JJ. But, just being the fangirl you are, you found out that he skates as well, so of course you had to try it out as well, and because you would make a fool put of yourself, you had your friend come along with you.
You hated it. Too much exercise. But of course, (F/N) loved it. So you came along to his competitions when you could, cheering him on. It was, in fact, your fault he fell in love with skating.
So you supported him, through the rise and falls, you where there by his side. Which sometimes, it wasn't necessary a good thing. The media began to take notice of how much time the two of you spent together, so, you decided that it would be best if the two of you weren't seen so much. It broke both your hearts, but it was for the best.
And now, a year later, all the rumours of the two of you together had disappeared and you decided that you would go to his show, which might be somewhat counter productive, but he has a girlfriend now so all is good.
Walking to the rink, your music blaring in your ears, you looked around for a place to sit that was relatively close, but sadly, that didn't happen as this competition was highly anticipated. So you just settled for walking around until you found somewhere to sit, which unfortunately for you, took a little while longer than you anticipated, your feet starting to hurt, from the tight shoes you wore, before you even found your seat.
"(Y/N)? What are you doing here?" You hear a voice behind you.
"Well, I figured I would watch." You reply simply. You had no clue why you were there at this point, other than meet the person you had been talking to for months. It started with a simple wrong number on your part, and it lead to the two of you going to meet here after the short programs.
"Sure." He says, dragging it out to have much more syllables than it normally would have. "You came to watch JJ skate, didn't you?"
"What?" You ask, perking up as you hear the name of your idol.
"Yeah. He's here somewhere. Anyway, do you want to come with me? There aren't many seats available and I know you don't like unnecessary exercise."
"Um, sure." You agree, following your friend to a room full of other skaters, each warming up in one way or another.
"Now, I'm not sure what you want to do but I do have to warm up, so go ahead and do whatever just make sure you don't interfere with any other skaters warming up or their coaches might kill you." He says, and you laugh. "Not joking."
Well this just got sinister. You think as you glance down at your phone. "I'm just going to do some stuff on my phone." You day, already tapping around on the device.
You sat down on a nearby chair, fixated on your phone, talking to the unknown person, and not bothering to look up from the app-store you had open, trying to find at least a semi-decent app for mixing music.
Finally finding one, you tore your earbuds out of your ears, grabbing your giant headphones that go over your ears, red duct-tape wrapped around one side of the headphone, the way the unknown person can tell it's you and, for the way they said that you're know it's them is a secret, but you'll know. You started a random song from the ones you had downloaded, soon realizing it was one of JJ's songs and that the beat was incredibly close to one of your songs, quickly plugging it in and tapping away at the screen, soon finding your favorite part. The hot cue.
And on this app, the boxes were neon and bright, making it even better. You paused the tracks, restarting them and pressing the record button, going to town with the hot cue, the echo, flanger, and loop, staying far away from the reverse. You were just naming the mix when you felt a tap on your head.
