You look around in the kitchen. It was the first room you saw, so you ran in here, but if the skelebros have medicine in here, you aren't sure where it would be. You check the cabinet under the sink, until you realize it is empty. You sigh and start to walk out of the kitchen, and almost bump into Papyrus, who is already fully dressed and ready for the day."O-OH, HELLO HUMAN." He says. "UH... I DIDN'T EXPECT YOU TO BE UP THIS EARLY, BEING SICK AND ALL."
"Well, uh, actually, I'm feeling a lot better today." You say, cocking your head slightly to the right. "Um, Papyrus? Do you have any medicine? I... think Sans might be sick now."
"OH. I WAS WONDERING WHY HE WAS DOWN HERE." He answers. "WELL, WE USUALLY GO TO THE UNDERGROUND'S ROYAL SCIENTIST, ALPHYS, TO GET MEDICINE."
"Okay... can you take me to her then?"
"WELL... I MEAN... I DON'T SEE WHY NOT..." Papyrus says, scratching the back of his skeletal neck.
"Alright!" You say, heading to the living room. Sans is sitting up on the couch, probably still denying being sick. He at least seems to have given in a little. His pupils are much dimmer than usual, and he looks tired. "Sans, we're going to get you medicine. Don't leave the couch." You say, making sure he knew you were serious.
"Geez, you don't sound like an adult or anything." He replies somewhat sarcastically, then leans back against the couch with a grin. "Sure thing. You don't have to, ya know."
"That's what you keep saying." You respond, blinking patiently. "But you helped me, and I want to return the favor. So, Papyrus has agreed to take me to the royal scientist to get you some medicine."
Sans shoots Papyrus a quick look, and he shrugs in response. Then Sans closes his eyes and sighs, before looking back at you. You put on a pleading face, and Sans finally gives in. "Alright kiddo, you can go. Just don't expect this to be an everyday thing."
"Oh, it will be. Bye Sans!" You call, and bounce out the door. Papyrus follows, locking it behind him. "Which way?" You ask. "LEFT." Papyrus responds, and you follow his lead.
The two of you carry on in silence for several minutes, until Papyrus speaks up.
"YOU KNOW, I'VE NEVER SEEN SANS SO... WHAT'S THE WORD I'M LOOKING FOR... PROTECTIVE? BEFORE." Papyrus says as you walk.
"What do you mean?" You ask.
"WELL, USUALLY HE'S LAZY AND WANTS TO STAY HOME. I'VE GONE TO GET MEDICINE BEFORE, AND HE WAS COMPLETELY FINE WITH IT. SO I DON'T KNOW WHY HE'S SO... POSSESSIVE NOW. IT'S LIKE HE DOESN'T WANT OUR HELP."
"Well, maybe he's just acting more self-conscious because there's a human around." You suggest, shrugging.
"YOU REALLY THINK SO?" Papyrus asks, clearly unsure.
"I'm sure he has his reasons, whatever they may be." You reply, shivering as the temperature suddenly turns from cold to warm. It's actually really not that warm here, you decide, but it definitely feels a lot warmer than Snowdin. You stumble slightly, kicking up water around your ankles. It almost looks as if you're in a huge cave, but it's perfectly bright, and it starts to rain as you travel deeper.
"What is this place?" You ask, waiting for Papyrus' response.
"WATERFALL." He answers.
"Yeah, no kidding." You comment, raising a brow at the waterfall drifting down the wall beside you.
"NO, THAT'S IT'S NAME. WATERFALL. OBVIOUSLY NAMED AFTER THE WATERFALL THAT RUNS THROUGH IT, AND KNOWN IN THE UNDERGROUND FOR IT'S CONSTANT RAIN."
