Hi... - My name is [Naomi] - I've been busy with school and personal matters so y'all can stop judging me now.

The next few days were a hectic sandstorm that fucked up your vision like no bodys business.

Videos were filmed, edited, and uploaded whilst ceilings leaked, microwaves broke and parcels consistently arrived at your doorstep.

Every two seconds there'd be a ring you knew all too well, and a person at the door, whether it be for the leak or simply just a postman.

You sighed as you finally sat down for what felt like the millionth, no, billionth time. Thank God it's finally Sunday. No post on Sunday. You thought, head resting peacefully on the fluffy, grey, sofa cushion behind you.

You turned the TV on, luckily, the first thing to come on was your favourite movie. You smiled, the world around you tranquil for once.

Then the doorbell rang again.

You groaned, pushing yourself up from the sofa and trudging unwillingly towards you apartment door.

"What?" You said as you opened the door, not even taking a moment to process who was there.

"Um..." the visitor mumbled something as you looked up, you suddenly realising who it was: Dan.

"I'm sorry, Dan, it's been a long week." You apologised, rubbing the back of your neck.

He looked amazing, as always. His hair was perfectly resting on his head, messed up just the right amount. You felt as if you could swim in his chocolate brown eyes, which filled you with happiness whenever you looked into them. His hands were in his skinny jean pockets, the same black, skinny, jeans he always seemed to wear. He laughed. Oh, and his laugh.

Damn, you thought, remembering what you'd missed this past week.

"Yeah, I was just wondering how you were doing? I haven't seen you in a while," Dan said, smiling.

You smiled back, having still not remembered the texts. The same texts you'd try'd to avoid them for.

"Uh, yeah, I'm good." You replied, "Just been kind of a crazy week."

Dan slid through the gap between you and the door frame, voluntarily entering your flat. He ambled over to the sofa, where you were just sat, and took and seat.

You rolled your eyes at him, and Dan looked at you innocently, like kind of a sad reindeer.

You get it? Right?.... no?

You grinned, half of you wanting him to leave, so you could sleep, and the other wanting him to stay. To sleep.

With him.

"Dan," you said, ruffling your hair. "Not to be rude or anything, but I was just about to have a nap. It's been a really tiring week an-"

"Ok, I get it," Dan interrupted you, standing up with hands above his head. "If you need some rest, you rest."

You smiled sheepishly, nodding a little.

"Thanks," you replied as he returned to the building's hallway.

"Just remember, when you need me, you know where I'll be,"

"Why would I ever forget you?"

Dan laughed at your sentiment and begun to open his own apartment door, stepping slowly through the frame.

He waved goodbye, then shutting the door sadly behind him. It creaked closed, and the lock clicked.

You turned to face your own apartment, telling yourself it was the right thing to have done. Nevertheless, a voice in the back of your mind was saying it was wrong.

Wrong. That was wrong. It repeated itself over and over as you flopped down on the floor, head collapsing against the wall, a loud bang coming from the plaster as you did so. Fists clenched up as you screamed, letting all your emotions out into the air around you.

"Why is Dan suddenly so bad for you?!" You yelled at yourself, hands grasping at your hair. "Is it because you don't trust him? Because of one goddamn text?"

You stood up suddenly, and violently continued to ask the world questions, answers never coming back to you, words lost in the air.

After a few moments you returned to the ground, sobbing.

"Do you not love him enough?" You asked.

Silence.

"No, no." An answer finally arrived at your lips, and you shook your head. "It's because of what happened before the text."

You stood, wiping away tears and stepping towards your bedroom, finally managing to flop onto your cosy duvet.

"Way, way before,"

"Let me see!" You yelled at your boyfriend, Issac, as he snatched his phone from your grasp. "Why won't you let me see?"

"It's private Y/N!" He yelled, turning away.

"What, do you not trust me?" You asked, knuckles squeezed together.

"Do you not trust me?" He replied, eyes burning ferociously.

"THAT'S NOT WHAT I ASKED!"

"I DON'T GIVE A SHIT!" He stormed out of the room, forgetting his phone on the dresser.

Through the walls of your shared home, you could here him cursing, kicking things around. You'd never seen him this angry before.

You ran towards the dresser, grabbing the phone as quickly as you could.

You pressed the ON button, and the screen infront of you lit up. He didn't have a password, thank the Lord, but in a way, if he had had a password, you wouldn't have seen the texts.

Katie: Can't wait to see you again tonight. I missed your kisses. xox

Issac: Missed you too, honey. xox

Katie: Y/N has no clue, right? I don't want her finding out about our little rendezvous. xox

Issac: Of course not, don't worry. xox

You dropped the phone, the screen smashing on the hard wood floor. Issac came rushing in, staring, horrified, at the mess below him.

Tears welled up in your eyes, your body becoming a mix of anger and sadness.

"How fucking dare you." You said, a drop of salty water falling from your eye. "How dare you, after everything I've done. We've done."

"Y/N, I can explain!" He said, flustered, his cheeks burning red.

"No, were over. I'm leaving."

What harm a few texts could do.

~ Back to the present ~

Your eyes flickered open, tears avalanching (Is that even a word?) down your face.

You looked in the mirror, only to see black mascara lines rushing downwards on your cheeks, and knotted, tangled hair.

You sighed, regaining your breath and proceeded to clean yourself up.

I trust Dan. You thought, as you plucked a makeup wipe from the white box infront of you.

"I trust him," you said aloud, wiping away the mascara and water combination which was rolling down your face. "I trust him."

There you go. Your welcome. Now all you have to do is wait another millennia for me to update again.
