"I want you with me, my dearest. Not just as a friend, though also as that. I want you as my wife. I want to know that we share our lives and cares, we share our health and ill, and we share our happiness and sorrow." – Aleksandra Layland
When they reached Akshardham Temple, Lindy was flabbergasted. The temple was huge and symbolized grandeur. It was a great tourist attraction in India and myriad were awed of the splendor of the temple. There was something in the atmosphere that Lindy felt goose bumps whole over her body. Unexplainable but Lindy knew it was déjà vu, maybe the reason why she was attracted to Guarav. There might be something in the past that bind her to him and their lives were just a mere reincarnation or two desperate souls searching for true love. Was this what they call soul mate?
She was in trance for a moment. She found it hard to walk. Her knees were jerking. Hot flashes over her face! Guarav noticed it and his eyebrows met together. When he touched Lindy's arm, she was sweating and this bothered him. It was unusual to sweat in the cold weather not unless she was not feeling well.
"Something bothering you?" Guarav asked Lindy with concern.
"Nothing! I just feel I was here before. Strange." She said curtly.
"Maybe you were here before or reincarnation is that it? Is that it what you feel?"
"Do you believe in that?" Lindy addressed Guarav with astonishment.
"Basing in our Hindu religion, we believe in reincarnation. We called that samsara, an eternal cycle of birth, life and deaths or reincarnation. It is a long explanation baby. Whatever you feel now leave it that way. Let us continue touring the splendor of the temple." Guarav had to divert Lindy's feeling or it would spoil his plan for today. He knew somewhere, Lindy might had existed before in a different personality and her soul entered Lindy's body. Sometimes phenomena were hard to explain. It remained mysterious up to now, beyond man's imagination.
He led Lindy to Sahajanand Darshan or Hall of Values. There were some people around lavishing the grandeur of the hall but Guarav didn't care. All he wanted now was to propose to Lindy. Yash was tagging along with them. His parents were behind them. Guarav settled in one corner and began to speak.
"I bring all of you to the temple because I have one thing that I want to do today in front of our gods. I made a decision that I want to marry Lindy." He knelt down and took the gold ring inside his pocket. The ring was simple with diamond on it. He held Lindy's left hand and spoke again. "This ring is symbol of my love for you. Will you love me till eternity?"
Tears were rolling down her cheeks. Tears of joy. She never expected this proposal from Guarav. "I do baby. You know you're my life. I can't live without you. I love you very much."
"I do love you too." Guarav stood-up and he put the engagement ring in Lindy's third finger and then Guarav kissed her lips. Lindy wrapped her arms around his neck and reciprocate his kiss. The crowd were staring at the couple dumbstruck of what they saw and they cheer loudly when they learned it was a proposal. Lindy blushed. She detached from Guarav, stepped forward a bit and bow her head to the crowd. The crowd congratulated them and for few minutes, they dispersed from the Hall of Values. They continued touring the temple.
