Stay With Me? (Ginoza x Reader)

(Y/N)'s POV

Everything was dark. No not dark. Pitch black was more like it. I could feel needles sticking onto my arms. I could hear the beeping of a machine nearby. Where am I? Why can't I open my eyelids? I force myself to open them and I'm blinded by white lights. Am I dead? No can't be, I can't die just yet. I have to get married and live a long life. I squinted my eyes and tried to get used to the lights. Everything was white. Am I in a room? I think I am. I see a sliding door and outside is a guy in scrubs. Then it hit me. I'm in a hospital, god I'm such a moron. I look to the side to see a sleeping Ginoza. This is the first time I've seen him sleep in a week. The doctor comes in and Ginoza wakes up. Damn it doctor, let the guy sleep.

"Ahh. Ms. (L/N) you're up!" The doctor said. I glanced at her name tag. Kanade Tachibana. Huh what a pretty name.

"Yeah I'm up" I said with a smile.

"So good news, your surgeries went well and-"

"Surgeries?" I asked.

"Yes, we have to repair the broken tissue and take out the bullet. Bad news is the gunshot was very close to your knee, but thankfully didn't do much damage, however, now you can't do anymore strenuous activities, like crawling through air vents or whatever the MWPSB does."

"O-Oh.."

"I'm sorry. We did all we could."

"It's ok. Thank you for what you've done. When will I be released?"

"In about 10-14 days, you'll be in the process of healing. About a week or two we can discharge you, and then you have to stay on crutches for 3 to 6 months depending on how fast you heal." She said, "I don't know the exact date yet"

"Oh. Thank you."

She left the room and I looked at Ginoza. His face was in shock.

"Babe, are you ok?" I asked him.

"I-I'm just shocked."

"I am too."

--Time Skip 7 months later--

My gunshot wound has healed completely, leaving a little scar on my knee. I work with Shion now and we have gotten quite close. During my healing process, Ginoza helped me with everything. I felt like a bother to him and no matter how many times I told him I was fine, he still helped me. There have been times where I would cry in his arms because I felt so weak, but always told me that I was strong for being able to of the things I do. My psycho pass went back down to a powder blue, and Ginoza's improved. Makashima managed to get away and there hasn't been a word from him since.

I was in the office sitting around when I got a text message. The familiar name flashed up on the screen.

Ginoza: Hey babe.

Me: Hey :)

Ginoza: So I was thinking, dinner, at that really expensive place in town that we never go to?

Me: What did you do?

Ginoza: What?

Me: We never go there unless we do something wrong.

Ginoza: What?? Why can't I take out my girlfriend huh?

Me: Haha

Ginoza: By the way we're taking Kogami and Akane.

Me: Ooohhh Double date? ;)

Ginoza: Haha very funny. We're taking the other enforcers too.

Me: o me o my. What's with the sudden change of heart?

Ginoza: I just want to make you happy you know? ;)

Me: You already make me happy <3

Ginoza: I'll pick you guys up around 6

Me: Ok then!

I put my phone down and glanced at the clock. 4:15. Should I leave to buy something nice? Like a dress of some sort. Nah, I hate those death traps. I continue my work and fall into a deep state of boredom. Shion notices this and tries to make conversation with me.

"What's wrong?"

"It feels like high school all over again. It's so boring" I said.

"Don't worry, we're going out to dinner later remember?"

"Oh yeah."

Time crawled it's ass by but it was eventually 5:30.

"Well Shion, I'm gonna go get ready now!" I said.

"Yay! Wait! I want you to wear this."

She pulled out a dress.(Dress above) It had the words "To: (Y/N) From: Ginoza" written on the note. Ginoza wanted you to wear this, but he did't know if it would be too girly for you"

"No no it's perfect"

I took the dress and went back to our the apartment. I didn't put on to much makeup. I wasn't pro at it so why would I even try? I did a few coats of mascara and some (f/c) lipstick. I styled my hair and then I heard the door open. I peeked outside to see a well dressed Ginoza. He was wearing a blue dress shirt with some slacks and he cut his hair? His bangs weren't as long, at least now I can see his face. He walking into the bedroom and saw me. All dressed up and ready to go.

"You look so breath taking" He said.

I blushed. "Thank you. You don't look so bad yourself"

He kissed me on the forehead and we both went out to the car and drove to the restaurant.

"Akane said that she would take the enforcers except for Kogami. That moron's coming with us"

We stopped by at headquarters and got Kogami.

"Hey - Woah. Damn (Y/N) you look all dolled up" He said.

"Ha ha. Back off Ko." I joked. We all got into the car and Kogami pulled out an old mixtape that we had when we were in high school. We played the songs and had a major throwback.

"Remember this song? This was the Ginoza would sing to all the time!" I giggled.

"Tch. Whatever" He said.

We all arrived at the restaurant and I realized that there weren't any customers. That's strange. The rest of the group came and we all sat at the same table. I felt really nice. I sat right across from Ginoza and he sat next to Kogami and I sat next to Akane. We all ate our food and paid after that. We all decided to go to a nearby park because of the cherry blossom trees that were blooming. I was kinda surprised there were any left. The sight was beautiful. I stood next to Akane and we talked about her crush on Kogami. I was interrupted when I heard footsteps behind me.
