Walking the down the quiet halls seemed to bring you happiness, you never had peace and quiet before. You stared at the ground as you walked the quiet halls, you saw a shadow appear at your feet, you looked up and saw another student walking down the halls. His faded pink hair just seemed to make you feel suspicious, you aviod his eye contact continuing to stare at the ground. You felt a body hit yours, you stumbled back and looked up and saw the kid. He looked fairly uoset about something.
" Oh im sorry, I should' ve watched where I was going" You said quietly not wanting to look into his eyes.
" It' s okay sweetheart" he said rubbing the back of his neck, you both stood there awkwardly waiting for someone to speak and break the awkward silence.
" so what's your name?" You askes breaking the silence between you and him.
" Mark,  and you are?" He asked nicely,  he held his arms held behind his back.
" Uh...( Y/N)"You said losing your train of thought for a split second when you saw his eyes. They were a dark shade of brown,  to the the point they could appear black from a distance.
" Earth to(Y/N), you good?" He said waving his hand infront your face. You jumped at the sound of his voice and sudden action,  you didnt realise you dozed off.
"Oh Im sorry Mark,  just got lost in my mind for a moment"  You said pressing your lips into a flat line.
"It's okay, don't we all get lost in there" He said looking down.
"Wanna go out for a drink after school?" He asked looking up at you.
"You mean like a date?" You asked pointing at him not moving a single inch from where you stood.
"If you wanna call it that then yes." He said smiling, his smile was so cute.
"I'll meet you at the gate" You said twirling your way around him, as he turned and watched you.
"Okay, see ya then" He said walking off in the direction he was heading in the first place. You completely forgot what you were doing out in the halls.
"Oh yeah, that kid gave me a small concussion" You said to yourself as you walked to class happily. You couldn't wait for your date with Mark.
