Hey Guys!! Thanks so much for getting me all the way up here!! About 500 reads, can you believe it?! Anywho, let's just get through with this 'author's note' and get on with the story.... ;)
*If you're wondering who won the fishing contest, you'll just have to wait and see... :]

"Well?" I asked impatiently. I just can't take the suspense. It's driving me like crazy!! I could see that Alex closed her eyes with her legs and her fingers crossed. I just hoped for the best.
"I can't say it..." Dad said with a sigh.
I was baffled. "What?" I questioned with a frown written straight on my face.
"It's too intense." he said.
"Perhaps I could say it." offered Mr. Sanders.
"I don't mind." Dad said with a smile. I guess Dad just wanted to take a rest from all the suspense that everyone's been having.
"And the winner is..." Mr. Sanders announced.
"Please be the Skylars," I hoped, muttering aloud.
"Please be the Sanders," Alex hoped, muttering loudly.
"A tie!" he bawled aloud. Everyone made a loud sarcastic sigh. I bet everyone's thinking like why or how come.
"Who's a tie?" Sally asked.
"Don't you know who's a tie?" I giggled. Does she really not know what a tie means? She's already in the fifth grade.
Sally growled at me angrily. Great, I've made her aggravated like her older sister. Right now, Alex has a mysterious look on her face. Like if she's planning a plot to make her family win and to make my family lose.
"It's a tie breaker." Mr. Sanders explained. How awkward could this situation get?
"By how much?" Brian asked crossing his arms.
"About a foot, by my calculations." said his dad, while looking at the paper on his left hand and his phone on the other.
"Now what do we do?" I asked pacing around. What was there to do now since there's a tie breaker? Should we drop out? Should we start the game again?
"How about a nice game of Tug-A-War?" suggested Mom. Oh no, Mom is doing one of her creepy smiles.
I shook my head at her and said, "How about a game of Hide-and-Seek Tag? We could play tag since there's a lot of room to run around and there are a couple of hiding areas and bases we could use." Hide-and-Seek Tag? That's all I could say for a better game to play... Hide-and-Seek Tag.
"What a great idea, Amanda!" exclaimed Mrs. Sanders. I grinned; I couldn't help it. I was just too excited from playing the game.
"And after this could we please eat? My stomach is crying." James said, rubbing his stomach clockwise.
My parents and Alex's parents chuckled lightly. Dad said, "Sure my little boy, we'll be having a feast on some smoky tasty basses."
"Yummy!" James cried aloud. With the sound of his cry, Oliver chose the bases and chose Alex to be it.
"Okay, so the bases will be that tree and that tree." he said, pointing his index fingers to his left and right side.
"I'll start counting down from 10!" exclaimed Alex, from a faraway distance.
Soon as Alex closed her eyes with her hands, I shouted across to her, "It's not Hide-and-Seek you know!"
"But it's Hide-and-Seek Tag! So be careful Amanda, because I might be catching you first!" she warned and continued counting down. Oh she might, will she? Let's see if she'll be able to catch me first, because I would say that I'm a pretty good runner.
