Dear [his name]

If you have a crush who is your childhood friend and that person hated you for real, then, this poem is made for you.

Dear [his name], I'd been looking at you
For as long as I can see.
I knew that nothing can be undo
So I would keep this love inside me.

I could remember those times when we were young
We would always be together.
Now, everything was on the tip of my tongue
And I was so under the weather.

I wished one day when I woke up,
It would be a blissful day.
So that I could speak up
The words I'd been wanting to say.

Seeing the irritation in your eyes,
I knew it was just a dream.
You couldn't bear it once you caught my sight
Don't look at me like that - my mind screamed.

Just a simple call from you
My mind was blank the whole day.
If you reached your hand to me, too,
I would jumped to your embrace.

Whenever I walked pass you
I felt like my heart exploding.
But remembering the relationship of us two
I knew my hope was fading.

I sent my words through the God above
That I'd always trusted you.
I couldn't sent you the word love
Cause it would shocked you out of the blue.

Now I locked myself in darkness
Hoping one day I would be set free.
But I can only feel loneliness
As the dark was what I would be.

Looking at your happy face
"Guys, I have a girlfriend!"
My mind fell into places
Throwing what I would intend.

"[His name]! Congratulation."
He smiled at me after such a long time.
"When we get married, I'll sent you an invitation."
I could feel the emptiness of my mind.

I was happy and sad
Both at the same time.
He looked at me and laugh
Innocently, unknowing it was a crime.

That night, I went back to my room
Staring at my stainless wrist.
I knew that I'm doomed
When all these thoughts hit.

When I came back to my sense,
I was in the kitchen holding a knife
With a wrist that is in pain
And everybody's face of fright

I then smiled 'cause I was happy
"[His name], send this to him..."
Looking at my poem, they agree
But it wasn't like what it seemed...
