Jackson's p.o.v

I open my eyes to see Hayley sleeping peacefully next to me. I look down at her pregnant belly. She's almost 9 months, any day now she will give birth.

"Daddy I had a bad dream." I hear our daughters voice from behind me.

I get out of bed and pick her up," Where's your brother?" I ask as she rubs her eyes.

"He's outside playing with a friend" she yawns tiredly.

"Well I'm going to put you in bed with mommy, I will be right back." I put her down next to Hayley.

I walk out of the house and into the backyard. I see my son with a familiar man. He turns his head to see me.

"Daddy, meet my friend, Zander!" He giggles, I tense up as I see Zander give me a crooked smile.

I hear a scream from inside the house, I run in to see Hayley bleeding out on the bed, our daughter gone.

I run back outside, Zander and our son are gone.

"Paybacks a bitch." I turn to see Victoria grin.

I sit up, I take a deep breathe as I realize it was all a dream. I look over to see Hayley sleeping peacefully next to me. This time her stomach wasn't round, and our dream daughter didn't walk in.

I quietly get up and walk over to Hayley's desk, I admire the pictures hanging on her wall, some of them were of her and Cindy. Some of them were her and the pack. But most were of us, I look at one of us. It was us when we went to that party together, I took a photo of us, she tried to cover her face but did a poor job because she was laughing.

I look at another two, it was of us on vacation in NYC, one photo was us on the terrace in my room. The other was her getting thrown into the pool by me.

I was about to look away when I see an old photo under the new ones. I move the other photos out of the way and look at it.

It's Hayley and a few of her friends when she was 15, Cindy is right next to her, her mouth full of braces. It looks like Cindy older brother is standing behind Cindy, then another by behind Hayley.

He was smiling, but he wasn't looking at the camera, he was looking at Hayley. The way I look at her.

"We went to a summer camp together because we all were friends, me, Cindy, Andre, and Zander." I turn around and look at her with a small smile.

"You guys were really close, you and Zander." She nods her head.

"How old was he in this photo?" I ask curious.

"Just turned 16" I nod.

"He was werewolf before..." I trail off.

"Why so many questions?" She snapped, she looked at me annoyed.

"I was just wondering." I say calmly.

"He was a werewolf." She's says apologetically, I nod my head

I start to think why he was so obsessed with Hayley, what was it about her that he loved so much, even when she hated him.

The only thing powerful enough to make him like that was a.......

I look at Hayley with astonishment," Hayley..... he was your mate." She looks at me doubtfully but I took the time to explain to her how it was a good explanation.

"I knew he loved me, but him as my...mate." She looks off outside, almost as she was wondering what her future would be like with him.
