New Beginnings

Rylees Point Of View:

"Klaus!" I spat, he continued to glare at me coldly. Rebekah rushed downstairs to assess the commotion.

"Nik...I didn't think we would be seeing you so soon." She gulped. "Well you thought wrong sister, what is she doing here?" he asked slamming me against the wall again.

"I invited her to stay with us for a while." She answered bravely, her confidence crumbled as she noted his increasing rage.

"Absolutely Not!" He seethed. "You seem to forget what she and her family have done to me, what they have done to us!" I took advantage of the distraction and shoved him off of me.

Rebekah dragged him away, not that I couldn't hear every word. "I will not go back on my word Nik, she needs some time away from her brothers and you weren't supposed to come home so soon." She whispered before walking back.

"Come then, I'll show you to your room." She attempted to speak calmly. I followed her cautiously up stairs. She lead me to a simple white room, one slightly bigger than the one back home. My bed was centered in the middle of the room, and there was a glass door which opened up to a balcony. It was beautiful.

I couldn't help but notice Rebekah smiling proudly. "I'll give you some time to unpack and adjust." She smiled before leaving.

I started by making my bed, then putting my clothes away, then adjusting everything else like my chair and my television. All in all it took be about an hour or two before I went down to the kitchen.

I rummaged through the fridge to find something to snack on, unfortunately all I found were a couple of blood bags.

"Find what you're looking for?" I jumped, hitting my head. "Ow!" I yelped. I turned around glaring at Kol. "As a matter of fact no." I spoke through gritted teeth. I smirked as an idea crossed my mind.

"What?" He tensed. he seemed spooked by my laughter. "You're going to help me." I taunted. "And what makes you think that?" He blurted. "Well you're obviously bored, I'm in need of transportation, oh and did I mention I would tell Rebekah how uncomfortable you've made me feel if you didn't." I smiled deviously.

"You do realize I could rip your heart out in an instance, correct?" He asked. "Yes but I'd imagine Rebekah would be very upset with you if you did." I answered making my way to the car.
