LUCY'S P.O.V

The day before the wedding.

And one two three, one two three, one two three, one two three.

"Ow!" Sherlock let go of me before sitting down at checking his foot.

"I told you that you shouldn't wear heels when I'm teaching you how to waltz!"  I shrugged.

"Look, I have to dance with you tomorrow wearing heels, so I might as well practice in them."  He rolled his eyes.

"You don't have to wear heels..."

"I have to, Mary picked them out to go with the dress and I can't exactly turn up to a wedding wearing converse!"

"You could."

"A wedding is formal dress, not casual, even you would know that about weddings!"

"Why are you shouting?!"

"You're annoying me!"  He sighed before getting back up.

"Lets try again then, shall we?"  I nodded and we started to dance.

"So, have you prepared your Bestmans speech?"  He frowned.

"Yes, have you practiced in the art of walking in those dreadful heels?"

"Of course."  He spun me before we returned back to the main steps.

"I don't see why John and Mary insist we dance together."

"They probably think we'll make amends..." I snorted and he raised an eyebrow.

"Sherlock, these months I've been away from you have been some of the best months of my life!" Liar, you've been lonely.

"Liar."  I raised an eyebrow.

"How so?"

"You averted my gave when you said those words and your posture changed ever so slightly as if you were ready to defend yourself."

"Oh shut up!"

He pushed me down into his left arm and lowered me.

"You managed to dance, all I had to do was to distract you."  I stared up into his eyes

"Distract me how?"

A squealing noise sounded from the doorway and Sherlock dropped me letting me land on the floor with a thump.  I lay there in shock for a moment before sitting up and turning my head to the door where Mrs Hudson stood, her hands over her heart.

"Oh you two..."

"Mrs Hudson?"

"I heard shouting so I came up to see what was going on and I saw you-"

"You saw us dancing, you instantly hoped we were back in a relationship and felt the need to make an almost un-human noise."

Mrs Hudson scowled,

"Well there was no need to be rude."

"I wasn't."  I got up and stood next to Sherlock.

"Maybe it is best you go Mrs Hudson, I don't think Sherly has had his daily dose of coffee yet."  She gave me a quick smile before hurrying back down the stairs.

 "Sherly?" I nodded.

"I'll spread the nickname if you ever drop again."  He drew in a loud breath.

"I'll try not to."

"You'll have to do better than that."

He sighed before grabbing my hand.
