Solving You Riddle 《Tom Riddle》?

Preparations ii

"Think before you leave if you go my offer will be null and void. Then keep trying to save your sister" I stop mid-step.

I turn to look at the devil to whom I sold my soul, I see for a moment guilt and then it vanishes that I think as though I imagined it. Maybe I did.

We see what we want to see- My sisters words echo in my mind as my eyes start to get glassy.

"Look Riddle, I am tired and its like two and all I want to do is snuggle and sleep into my bed, you might be able to live without food and sleep but I cant. So Please Tom let me go.We can continue whatever this is day after."

He  simply nods and I take it as my cue to leave.

The next morning I wake up well rested and refreshened and as I grabbed my bag I went through the list of things I had to do today and remembered my priority jobs.

a) Say sorry to Reece

b) The plan  which Camille and I had in mind

I headed to the great hall for breakfast, I caught hold of Charlus Potter, Reece's Cousin and gave him a box to give him to Reece and a letter on top. I silently saw the exchange, Reece was angry, he looked at loss he didnt open it immidiate for which I was a bit relieved and dissapointed.

"Skylark" I jumped at the sound.

"What are you doing here" asked Aaron

"Nothing I just well nothing"

"Sure doesnt look like that"

I snorted indignantly.

 And then went to sit down next to Olivia.After breakfast I looked over to the Gryffindor table and right into Reece's eyes and looked down ashamed to get caught, he was sitting with Euphemia Felson, his best friend who liked him and he had the guts to say I was blind, she was the reason he started calling himself with the nickname of his middle name. Fleamont Richards Potter became the cool Reece, a skilled dueler and an amazing potioneer to say nothing of being the ladies man.

I sighed wistfully.

It was after the end of the last class of the day when Camille acknoledged me I started my part of the plan. I put on my innocent smile and turned towards Olivia and Albert.

"Do you guys want to Ice Skate on the lake " I asked

"But we have homework" Al said.

"Dont be such a spoilsport.If you go I will help you with your homework" I replied.

I had finally decided it was time that I take matters into my hands after both Olivia and Albert refused to realise their feelings for the other and so I had taken Camile's help.

We skated for half an hour a few others joining us, I stopped and went to take some water when I saw the squid coming and changing the direction of the fake snow ledge. I rushed in to help Olivia who upon the impact had been standing on weak layer of ice. In the moment of panic I step unto a sharp peice of wood that had gotten stuck in the ice and broke a leg( literally).I howl in pain and lose conciousness before seeinga pool of my own blood.

I wake up in the infirmary. Madam Christine finds me a few minutes later.

"How are you feeling?"

"Im alright, just dizzy" I try to get up but pain in my body stops me.

"Oh do stay still, you are not quite recovered yet"

"How much time" I ask.

" Two at least and Four days at most. You were brought on time, you have lost quite a lot of blood and broken bones in your legs and your skull. You should be glad you are alive" she said as she gave me a sleeping potion and all my sleepless nights came rushing in.

Reece's POV

The news of Elizabeth getting hurt spread like wildfire. I was still angry at her.True, but I still cared for her . I wanted to ask what the gift was about and why hadn't she give me in person. I was confused and angry and hurt. If (Euphe)mia had not been with me I would have probably thrown it at her face and then regret it.  

I take the invisibility cloak my father gave me, it helped me on one to many occasions, like the time I was about to get caught on  one of the pranks I played or the time after our little picnic Elizabeth slept and I had to drop her. (One of the most embarassing things I did) and now when she was lying in the infirmary, I grabbed her gift and letter, I would read it infront of her give her all the chance she needed to tell me whatever she would have wanted to.

I quietly slip into the infirmary to find Elizabeth sleeping  I keep the gift and letter on the sidde table which has some cards and treats. I hear shuffling of feet and quickly hide under the cloak. I see Madam Pomfrey come to check inside and leave. I hold my breath and as I am about to reveal myself I see Riddle sneak in and cast a silencing charm.

"Elizabeth" He calls out softly.

"Tom, is that you" she says

I stay silent not wanting to be found though I feel fury setting fire to all the feelings I had for the girl.

"Why are you here? "

"I was passing by and thought I should check up on you" he replied.

"What do you want" she asked her jaw clenching now

"I am sorry for what I said about loverboy, I want to make it up to you so I bought the Second potion of the first part, Phase one of saving your sister is over. Remember the vow I want the answer before New Years Eve" he said taking out a vial and setting it beside the gifts Elizabeth had given him, Elizabeth turned to look at her bedside and sucked in a breath seeing the gifts I had placed.

"I will give you, have you seen anyone come inside before you" she asked.

"No. Were you expecting someone" he enquired.

"We dont always get what we expect do we." she sail

"Good Night Tom" she said closing her eyes.

"Good Night Elizabeth" he said leaving.

She stayed silent for a full five minutes before a tear leaked out her eye and the torrents of tears came crashing.

"I'm sorry"she said

"I am so so sorry, I failed everyone.... didnt I, I failed my friends,my parents my sister, and Reece...Oh my God..I hurt you all, no matter what I do" she sobbed.

"You hate me dont you Reece, I deserve it though, I dont deserve anyones love or-or friendship. I hurt whoever comes my way to show me good things, I deserve hate,I do" she said looking at the gifts.

Soon the sleeping draught Madam Christine gave her started to work.

 I was shocked to see the most beautiful, confident girl break in front of my eyes, he was blackmailing her.Riddle, I will kill him. I admired her now more than ever and respected her knowing all she had gone through that know I know,all the things I dont.

Oh Elizabeth, My Love

She was wrong she deserved all the love the world has to offer. I will make sure she gets it,I promised myself nobody would hurt her, I will help her all I can without question.I will try my best to make her forget all her sorrows.
