Tom twirled his wand around his fingers. He had waited years for this single moment.

The first step to his being the strongest wizard the world had ever seen and will see. He was in a village called Little Hagleton. The snow cast a shadow on his handsome face.

He was in a very foul mood though a passerby might think he was complacent and calm. There was chaos raging inside. One might wonder if it was due to the fact that he was going to kill someone but they needn't be alarmed it wasn't going to be for the first time.

His chaos had a name. Elizabeth Skylark.

Oh how mad she drove him.
Had he been lesser of his kind he might have just straightened those  slightly wavy locks that grew on his head but he wouldn't be brought that low. Merlin forbid he  was spotted doing something so...so muggle. No he was going to go a Psycopaths way on this and simply kill. Oh not his chaos not her. She was a challenge he needed to conquer. But the unfortunate soul who had helped create a monster like him. Surely it was his fathers fault he was who he was.  halfblood filth.

He stood in front of a cosy villa, a notable building in the tiny village.

Someone was going to pay.

Elizabeth's POV

I had packed all my belongings. We were leaving the Malfoy's were here to bid us adieu. Yet my eyes searched for the one person who had not sought me out yet.

I had hoped he would apologise to me and we would go back. What he asked me was unfair. How change could I stop telling people I love that I love them. It was highly unfair.

I looked back one last time to the comforting face of Abraxas Malfoy before taking my sisters hand and apparating back home.

Coming home I busy myself in the work doing more than I ushually do. Even my mother asks me to rest.

"You have done enough Elizabeth for Merlins sake nobody is going to come in the attic. It probably has not been cleaned since your Grand parents died."  My mother chided and left probably to check the cutlery and tablecloths for the nth time

I was in the attic cleaning it with the help of house elves.
I sat on the ground looking at some of mine and Isabella's baby pictures.

I sighed. I wished I could be a kid again. Which was funny since as a kid I always wanted to grow up.

I sighed.

I turned to see the piano. It was an old thing. Nobody in our house was interested in music except me but I couldn't play it for the life of me.

I remembered how Tom had played so skillfully. I sat on the bench, closing my eyes I brushed my fingers along the keys.

I could almost hear him. Like this eyes closed. I could feel the ghost of his fingers runnong through my arms and the warm whisper brrathing near my neck. I could smell his scent and .. feel him here with me.

My sisters not so subtle cough woke me up from my trance.

"I am assuming you both have had a difference of opinions." My sister started tactfully avoiding the word fight.

I nodded.

"You could say that."

"You are all grown up I shan't advise you on the matters of the heart. Because every pair is different and some mistakes you must make to grow." Isabella said softly. "Anyway I have come to take you to the parlour the seamstress has arrived with your dress."

I nodded yet again. With a longing look upon the piano. I closed the door of the attic.

The days had passed in a blur. The ball room had been decorated with lovely tropical flowers. The patio and its surrounding area had been cleared of its snow. A few Gondola sat on the canal that surrounded the Skylark Manor.

I was wearing a golden dress a gold mask on my face my hair were pinned with an amber crystalline moon shaped pin towards the top but otherwise left open.

The moon seemed cruel tonight. The cresent laughed at my folly of gloom. Still I painted a smile on my face.

I stood by the entrance my older sisters shadow. My nightlike eyes waiting for their bright counterpart.

The guests had all arrived. Even the Malfoy's though Abraxas was missing. People had eased into conversations.

I currently stood with a displeased Rowle.

Rhea Rowle for some reason hated my guts. It might have something to do with my eight year old self telling her secret to everybody. I dont even remember what it was. But I shall as long as Im destined to be in her company will have to bear the consequence of my stupidity.

"The apples are a bit too sugary." Rhea commented.

"That is because they are covered with caramel.Sweetie" I said politely.

"Disgraceful they are too sweet. A tad bit too much and by heaven dont get me started on how dry the steak is. You see there is this stage where it is the right bits juicy and dry. ...." Rhea prattled.

"Can I get you something else." I asked her a perfect smile on my face.

"I was hoping if you had some pudding. No one can ruin pudding. Unless ofcourse they are as talented as you are Skylark."

"Of course anything to drink." I enquired.

She shook her head no.

I was not really angry she was a guest and if she enjoyed her time by irritating more precisely trying to do so. I did not mind.

I had been her best friend when we were kids and had foolishly betrayed her. It was a perfect counter for my sins.

I was bringing her some food to the garden where she was seated. When someone apparated in front of me and the pudding spill on me.

I stood baffled for a moment.
My dress was ruined.

I looked in front to meet ice cold eyes of my lover.

AN Its been so long and I have zero excuses for my dearth of updates... Hope you enjoyed. BTW tom is so evil but thats why we love him
