Chapter Twenty-Seven
Harry POV
It was actually really good to have Sam back home where she belongs. It was gonna take awhile to get her back into the swing of things, but that's why she has all of us here to help her. She was gonna take a break from Vampire Diaries (although i was a little upset on how they ended the season like that i mean come on!) and focus on her getting better at home. It kind of pissed me off how the nurses at the treatment center basically told her to stay away from me and that i was the main problem in her life. Well, it wasn't all the nurses, just the one that she was assigned to. Why was i the problem? Because i was famous? As far as i knew, we're both pretty famous people; her with her hit tv series and me with my music career. But whatever her reason was, it didn't matter because Sam was home with me and the nurse has had no contact with her since she came back.
Sam was still sleeping in bed, her hair covering her face and her mouth slightly open, letting out a soft snore. Some people wouldn't find the image attractive but i did. It was nice not seeing Sam trying so hard to make herself look pretty. She was fine looking the way she does now, with her hair messed up covering her eyes and drool rolling down her face. Some people might find me weird thinking that that would be sexy but i didn't care. This was Sam's natural beauty and i was totally in love with it.
I put on a pair of boxers (being that i sleep naked every night) and walked into the kitchen, preparing to make some breakfast. Eggs and toast was too easy since i like challenges, so i decided to make some of my grandmother's famous scones with some banana bread and coffee. It was a good thing that i went grocery shopping before Sam came back or else i would have nothing in this house. I didn't want it to seem like i haven't cooked anything since she left (which i didn't.). What kind of person would i look like? I wanted to go all out and when her dad called me telling me about her early release, i rushed to the store and grabbed basically everything in sight.
As i was forming the scones, i heard tiny footsteps coming up behind me and then felt two small arms wrap themselves around my tall frame, a chest being supported on my back. A smile formed on my lips as i knew it was my beautiful girlfriend just waking up. Her hair was making my back itchy but i didn't mind. I wanted to feel her warm skin on mine and i was willing to make some sacrifices.
"Good morning beautiful," I said as i formed the last scone, turned around and kissed her on her forehead. She groaned in response, making me chuckle.
"I'm so tired," she groaned, lowering her head till it was resting on my chest.
"Then why did you get up love?"
"Because i smelled coffee."
I shook my head, smiling down at her. I picked her up by her waist, making her wrap her legs around me. Not something i was going for but it worked. I walked her over to the counter and placed her on top of it, going back to the cabinet and grabbing a cup for her coffee. I fixed it the way i rememebred she likes it (hopefully) and handed her the warm cup. Her fingers grazed mine and it sent a chill down my back. Not because her fingers were cold, which they were, but because she was Sam; my Sam.
"What are you making," she asked, fully awake now that she took a sip of her coffee.
"Breakfast," i teased.
She rolled her eyes.
"I know that. I meant what are you making?"
"Scones."
"Never had scones before."
I put the tray in the oven.
"Looks like i'm taking that virginity too."
