Something, Someone, in Someplace... (A sequal of Something, Someone, Someplace)

It was late winter when my family left me home for the weekend. I was getting really bored so I thought of going to my friends house. I mean its not like they were coming home anytime soon. So I called him, he said it was alright because his father left as well. I started up the engine and was about to leave when I saw a man standing by the corner. I regret what I did so much because it was legit stupid but here's what I did. I walked up to the man and said "What are you doing out here in the cold?" he didn't answer. I then thought maybe he was too cold to speak but then, he said something "Watch out." he said. I was freaked out at that point so I ran as fast as I could to my car, I slammed the door and hit the gas pedal. When I finally came to my friends house he said "Why did you take so long." I told him I was stopped by an old man on the side of the street. He asked me what the man looked like, I said it wasn't in my mind at the time and I could probably remember it later. We then moved on to prank calls, He called people he knew I called a random number. The number I called was the old man from earlier, he said the same thing "Watch out." I quickly hung up the phone and told my friend that was the old man over the phone.

I then told my friend that we should lock the windows and lock the doors, after all of them were locked we just sat on the couch and watched TV. I then heard a knock on the door, I went to check the window, This figure that I saw was wearing a orange hoodie and didn't look so friendly. I then asked my friend if he was sure he locked all the doors, He said "I think I didn't lock the back." My heart was beating really fast now, I quickly without a word dashed to the back door hoping I could get to it intime. I heard the door creak open, I dashed back to the living room and whispered to my friend "We need to hide now!" Now of course there places people would of probably thought of first like under the couch, in a closet, in a cabinet under the sink but we chose to go upstairs and hide under the bed in his bedroom. After a little while we then heard creaking on the stairs. We then stayed completely quiet as the figure walked into the bedroom. My friend was so scared that he started to heavily breath, I put my hand over his mouth too keep quiet but it was too late. The figures arm then reached under the bed and dragged my friend out, I then crawled out as quick as I could to save him. I reached for the closest weapon, at the time that weapon was a lamp, I then hit him over the head with the lamp which made him drop my friend. we then took a run for it.

Now, you might think this is completely stupid but, we decided to go into the woods in his backyard. While we were running for our lives I thought I heard something. It sounded like the crackling of leaves, like footsteps from right behind us. I told my friend "Stop." We both just looked around then he heard it too the sound of footsteps crunching leaves like cereal. I yelled at my friend this time and said "WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!!!" We ran north, south, east, and west, it felt like we were in a time loop. I then stopped us again and said "Lets try running in one direction." We ran, ran, and ran, but it seemed like we were just heading the same direction as last time. Suddenly out of the darkness I saw the way out of the woods. We had a one way out chance and then the figure appeared, he picked me up and threw me on the ground. As he was about to knock me out silly, my friend grabbed the biggest stick available and smashed it over his head. I quickly got up ran as fast as I could out of the woods with my friend. We ran into his house and made sure everything was locked. I then told my friend "Are we actually going to leave a dead guy in the woods?" He said "I think its too late, I really don't want to go in those woods again." I look out the window and I then saw what looked like a shadow of a man standing in the woods watching me as I was staring at him.

Remember he could be anywhere in anyplace so please, lock your doors, and your windows, for he might be watching you right now.
