Normani watched Odell as he drew in his book, the young woman just silently chewed. That’s the thing about Odell when he wasn’t occupying his time with it by writing, drawing or simply taking notes. He was admiring the woman. Wondering how he was able to gain such a sweetheart as his. Although he did question some of the thing she did, such as eating everything plain. 

The two were like yin and yang, opposites attracted and the two of them were forever rollin’. Odell was the one out of the two, who was anxious, tense, and alert. While Normani was the one who was calm,cool and collected. So she was always entertained by the fact, that Odell would still be nervous after all of this time. They weren’t rookies to this, but still he would deny the assumptions to the end of time. He did small things like shaking whistle at a rapid pace or gripping things until his knuckles turned white. It gave him away. But like she knew Odell was Odell, and he made the shit happen.

“You know it’s never too late, to release some tension. Any time. Any place.”

“Normani, don’t test me. I’m gone give you what you asking for.”

"Baby, you know I'm know for my tests. The question is can you pass them?"

"I'm sitting here with you aren't I?"

"Touche. The offer is still on the table." 

"I always knew you were nasty."

She let out a laugh cause, she knew he liked that. So it didn’t really bother her. Smiling she ate some more of her food, humming and looking out the window, watching their next hit. The sound was like music to Odell’s ears, he knew about her dreams of becoming a singer. He pushed her towards that goal, but at the moment he wanted to keep her with him.  He knew Normani’s story and how she grew up. He knew how much she wanted her mother to get a job, how much she wanted her father to come back. She wanted everything but why work for it….when she could just take it. It was a lesson that she had learned quick.
