Y/N's POV:
The next day, everyone goes to class and Korosensei came in with even MORE copies of himself with even MORE headbands! What on earth made him go crazy like this? There is about two or three copies of him for each student.
"Ne, Korosensei?" I call him.
"Hmm? What is it?" his copy asks.
"Aren't you pushing yourself a bit TOO much?"
"My main priority is to ensure your education and to help you improve in your worst subjects." He explains. "It's all to get your scores up!"
He continues to help me out in maths and science and I try my best to understand it all 'cause maths is hell.
After a while, the bells rings and Korosensei sits on his seat and pants with one of his tentacles fanning him.
"Why's he working so hard anyway?" Okajima asks.
"Nyufufufufufu... To get your scores up, and when that happens..." His eyes shines and visions us gazing at him with respect and sexy girls asking him to teach them. Everyone sweat drops as his head turned pink. "I won't have to fear for my life, and I'll be living on an easy street!"
"We don't really have to be straight A students." Mimura says.
"Yeah, whoever assassinates him gets ten billion yen." Yada agrees.
"And with ten billion, you don't need top grades to live the good life!" Nakamura adds with her hands behind her head casually which made Korosensei shriek.
"Nyuya!! I-Is that how you see it?!"
"We're the End class, Korosensei." Okajima says.
"Your assassination's way more accessible to us than any exam." Mimura adds.
Korosensei looks down and his shadow hides his face. "Ah. I see how it is."
"How what is?"
"You don't have what it takes to be assassins yet." He says and his face turns purple with an 'X' mark. "Out into the schoolyard, the lot of you!" He orders.
We do as he told us and go outside. Me and Karma stay more in the back, leaning onto the wall of the school building.
"What's up with Korosensei?" I ask Karma and he shrugs.
"Who knows."
One of E class' key features is its built-in remedial process. By scoring in the top fifty of the 186 students who take periodic exams and receiving permission from their former teacher to return, they can leave the outcasts of E-class behind. However, their poor academic skills and the bleak environment they are provided make meeting these conditions next to impossible. Most E-class students are made to feel remediation is beyond their grasp and come to terms with intense discrimination.
I hear Kataoka bring Bitch-sensei with us. "Irina-sensei, there's something I'd like to ask you as a professional assassin." Korosensei says, his back still facing everyone.
"What is all this?" She mumbles.
"When you're on a job, do you prepare just one plan of attack?" He asks her.
"No. Things rarely play out according to my initial plan. Making detailed backup plans in preparation for any possibility is a basic tenet of assassination." She asnwers.
"And you, Karasuma-sensei. When fighting with a knife, is the first strike the only important one?"
"The first strike is of course the most important, but your next move matters too. Against a powerful foe, your first blow is likely to be dodged, so the precision with which you can land your second and your third blows can decide the fight."
