Mated With the New Girl

                           Alyssa's P.O.V
The rest of the homeroom went by without any more incidents. I was defiantly glad for that because then I would probably just embarrass myself even more. I'm also glad that nothing else happened because then I would have even more attention than I really wanted. I already have half the class staring at me in awe or complete and utter hate.
         
Great, I hate attention.

I shivered slightly as I could feel Corey's and Jason's glare shoot right through me from behind.

Corey might or might not scare me just a little bit. Jason defiantly doesn't frighten me at all for some reason but his brother sure does.

Right when I was about to fall asleep from the teacher's droning, the bell rang, signaling the end of 1st period. Instead of darting out like I usually do, I calmly got up, grabbed my bag, shoved all of my stuff in it, and walked out cooly.

Right when I was lost in the sea of people and couldn't feel Jason and Corey's penetrating eyes, I took off in a sprint. I didn't even bother looking at where I was going as I blindly ran towards my 2nd period and where I thought Nathan and Eden where.

All of a sudden, my progress of finding my triplets was halted as I slammed into a hard packed wall. Well, I thought it was a wall at least.

When I looked up, I noticed a girl glaring down at me, her eyes cold, so cold that it could make ice jealous.
         
The girl had long dark brown hair streaked with red here and there and her eyes were cold as night, pitch black.
         
"What the actual hell? Who do you think you are?"

Oh god, she doesn't look like anyone I want to mess with.

I could feel my heart start to pound in my chest and my hands grow clammy from the thought of what she could actually do to me.

"How about you actually start to watch where you're going?!"

Her eyes grew insanely angry and her cheeks turned a bright red as she took a threatening step towards me. Her lips looked almost like they were turned back in a snarl as she took another threatening step towards me again.

Once she took the third step I finally noticed that my new found confidence wasn't anywhere to be found.

Jason's P.O.V
Once the bell rang I watched as she slowly walked off then started running once she thought I wasn't watching her anymore.

I absentmindedly thought about Alyssa as Corey droned on and on about some chick he saw today.

I knew I should have been listening to his girl 'issues' as he likes to call it but I was too caught up in Alyssa. She's all that's been on my mind lately, or should I say for the past 45 minutes.

Then I felt it, a wave of fear crashing down onto my heart and shoulders, making my head pound in agitation at the sudden burst of emotion.

I knew it wasn't my own feelings.

It was hers.

Not even bothering to explain to Corey, I took off in the opposite direction that we where going in. I could hear Corey yell in surprise but I ignored it and kept running, weaving in and out of kids and sometimes even shoving them out of the way.

I instantly knew why she was feeling fear once I had felt how strong the emotion was. No one puts fear into people's hearts better than the one and only Bailey.

That witch had found my human.

I knew she was going to find her one way or another but I didn't know it was going to be so soon.

Corey soon got behind me and we both ran, Corey still confused but knowing best to keep his mouth shut.

I kept my emotions tuned in with hers, feeling her every emotion that was present in her mind and body. Once I got closer to their known spot I could feel her fear melt away into confidence. That once known fear was now pushed to the back of her mind as she was now filled with impatience and that fiery attitude I like.

Alyssa's P.O.V.
I could my confidence slowly drain back. I quickly looked around to see if I could catch Jason anywhere but he was no where in sight so I just guessed that he was really close by since the pull was insanely strong.

"If you're looking for someone to save you, no ones going to be coming you know." She smirked and an evil glint caught in her eye as her black depth eyes narrowed into me. "You're a nobody, you're all alone." She growled in humor as I snorted in frustration.

"Okay, let me stop you there before you continue your lying spree." I growled, cutting her off.

Of course, like in every fight, a whole bunch of 'ooooohhhssss' echoed around the hallway. Kids stopping to watch what's going down.

"First of all," I held up one finger and waggled it in her face. "I'm not alone," I frowned deeply at the thought. "Second of all, I'm clearly a somebody or you wouldn't be talking to me." I let a sassy tone edge my voice as I flipped my hair over my shoulder and stuck my hands onto my hips. "Third of all, I don't need anyone's help. You're just some hothead, arrogant, witch, who nobody likes!"

The hall was dead silent as I had yelled out that last part. No one dared to say a word as they all silently and frighteningly looked at the girl in front of me.

"You're right, I am a witch! But how powerful? You would never have guessed!" She cackled hysterically, raising her hands by her face, her fingers bent slightly forward.

Just then, right as she looked like she was about to lunge towards me, Nathan and Eden showed up.

"Okay, shows over! Bye bye little witchy," Eden laughed lightly while shooing off the girl lamely.

The girls eyes widened in surprise before they melted into a deep anger. Her left eye twitched before she spun around and stomped off, muttering things under her breath. Man, was she pissed.

"Well, what do you know? Our baby sis can stand up for herself after all!"

"You jerk!" I growled playfully while punching him in the arm.
