When they got to the edge of town it was about noon so they stopped to eat something. While they were eating they decided to split up so they could cover more houses. They both agreed to meet back in two and a half hours. They parted ways shortly afterwards. Jasmine went left and started checking houses.
She walked up to one house and said loudly, "Hey is anyone alive in there? Hello?"
No answer.
"Alright I'm coming in! Don't worry I'm not going to hurt you!"
She busted in the door and checked the whole house, however no one was inside. She moved onto the next house, with Eclipse right behind her, and repeated the process. Although to no prevail because there was no one in that house either. She did that multiple times, until she heard a noise around the back of a house. So she went into the backyard and saw a little treehouse with what sounded like movement coming from inside. She decided to investigate and as she went up the ladder shouted,
"Hello! Is anyone in there?"
The movements stopped as Jasmine reached the trapdoor leading inside. She pushed it open and didn't see anyone so she walked up to a little desk, looking at the belongings on it. Just as she heard movement behind her, then something was pressed against her neck and she froze. There was a voice in her ear, it was soft but deadly,
"Who are you and what are you doing here?"
