"HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABE!!" Gerald texted Sarah on a Tuesday morning.

She was still sleeping.

"I know you're still sleeping because I can hear your snore all the way sa bahay ko. I can't wait to see you tonight! You don't have to worry about anything today Babe! This night is yours! I love you! See you!" He texted her again.

"Sarah!" Mommy Devine knocked on her door. "Gising na! Maaga call time mo!"

She stretched. She was quick to grabbed her phone. She wanted to beat Gerald from greeting her but it was too late. Kilig na kilig sya sa nabasa niyang text from Gerald. "I LOVE YOU! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!" She texted him back on her other cellphone. Her business cellphone.

2020

She just got home from her mini get away to New York. At sermon ka agad ang sinalubong niya galing sa mommy nya. She sat on the couch watching her mom speak but she hears nothing. Her parents doesn't know what's been going on with her life. She stops telling them her business when she got back with Gerald. That's her way of proving that she did pinag laban ang pag mamahalan nila ni Gerald.

Her phone did not stop buzzing since she got out of the plane.

"Tingnan mo ang daming nag te-text at tumatawag sayo!" Sabi ni Mommy.

Dumating naman ang Daddy nya.  Nakita nya ang anak na hindi ban lang sumasagot sa mga sinasabi ng Mommy nya.

"Hay nako Delfine! Hindi ko na alam kung ano pumapasok dyan sa utak ng anak mo!"

"Sige anak mag pa hinga ka muna." Sabi ng Daddy nya.

"Sorry." Mahina niyang sabi habang tumatayo sya. She's headed to her bedroom.

Maaga sitang bumangon para sa meeting niya with VIVA. She hands a piece of paper to her manager. Boss Vic carefully read Sarah's paper. "Alam ba ito ng parents mo?"

"Boss, I'm almost 33 years old siguro naman I can handle that big of a decision by myself," she reply. "Hindi po ba na time na rin para isipin naman ang ano gusto ko para sa sarili ko?"

Boss Vic looks at her. "Sige, I will give you the break you need. Pero one year lang."

"I'll take anything that you can give me! Thank you Boss!" She's all smiles.

"But." Boss Vic stop her. "You still need to go to ASAP and Belo commercials and events. If you want this to keep discreet. You can't just disappear and expect your fans to not look for you."

She smiles. "Deal!" She hands her hand for a shake hand. She gets up and walks towards the door.

"Sarah, anak!" Boss Bic calls her. "I'm happy for you."

Muntik na mapaluha si Sarah. She rans towards her manager and gives him a long hug.

After her meeting with VIVA she went straight to ASAP rehearsal for her opening act and solo performance. She wasn't expecting to bump to Gerald. It turns out mag partner na naman sila sa dance opening.
