I sat in my seat on the plane, Sherlock next to me. His eyes were closed and for once he looked relaxed. Mary and John sat in the row in front of us. Mary sat in front of Sherlock, the aisle seat, I sat next to Sherlock, avoiding the window seat. However, John kept a space between him and Mary, sitting himself by the window.
I sighed and shifted in my seat trying to get comfortable. I felt Sherlock pull up the arm rest between us. He put his arm around me and pulled me to his chest. I rested my head on him and closed my eyes listening to the steady beat of his heart.

"This one?" Sherlock asked pointing to a ring behind the glass cabinet.
"What about this one?" I asked. The silver band was simple and not too showy with a small diamond in the center.
"That one is cheaper- Oh, I see what you're doing..."
"Took you a while. But really, this one looks nice." I smiled. He nodded and motioned to a man behind the counter.
"Can I help you, Sir?" he asked Sherlock.
"Yeah. Uh. That one." Sherlock said pointing to the ring. The man looked at me and I smiled.
"Would you like the male's band as well?" he asked Sherlock.
"The-the what?" Sherlock asked.
"You can get a ring too if you'd like, or just wait until the wedding." I began.
"Would you like me to get one?" he asked and the man looked at me.
"Get him one, he might stray." I joked, but Sherlock didn't find it very funny. Sherlock paid for them and the man handed us the small bag. "Thank you," I smiled at the man.
"No problem." He smiled. I looked at Sherlock as we walked out of the shop. He reached his hand into the bag and pulled out my box.
"What're you-," I began when he got on one knee.
"Will you, Elizabeth Schmidt, marry me?" he asked. Even though he's already asked, I still teared up.
"You idiot, I already said yes!" I cried. He smiled at me and slid the ring on my finger.
"I read up on some things and I figured I should've asked once I got the ring, but clearly your taste is different than I thought." He said. I shook my head and put my arms around him.
"I love you." I said. He looked at me and ran his fingers through my hair.
"I love you too." He said. I smiled at him and we walked across the Vauxhall Bridge and he faced the river. I could tell he was thinking, so I kept quiet and sat listening to the water crash against the rocks. Sherlock looked across the river at the SIS Building. Then, without any warning, he ran.
"Sherlock!" I called quickly running after him. As he ran, and I don't know how but he's Sherlock, he managed to text. We arrived at the Aquarium. I looked at Sherlock in confusion.
"Sherlock, what're we doing her-,"
"Sh," he said kindly. We walked down the blue-aquarium lit halls and Sherlock took my hand.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the Aquarium will be closing in five minutes. Please make your way to the exit. Thank you." An announcement rang through the speakers. We continued to walk when we saw a woman sitting on a bench.
"Your office said I'd find you here." Sherlock spoke.
"This was always my favorite spot for agents to meet. We're like them: ghostly, living in the shadows." She said turning to face him.
