A low
yet miles deep cry
rumbles in my throatAs i slip the veil of
memory off my eye lids.Night is still young
We are too.
Lots to do,
and hurdles to cross.I've watched the horizon
blink and disappear
in to the night,
it seems the same
when its looked upon
up close or from afar. But it feels
like there is one
big gaping hole
in the centre of itIt is not the same
It will never be the same
Like a bird upon a quest
to find its next home,a migration
forced upon her
for survival.Hoping to find
what my mind
and heart yearns forHoping maybe
today it will get betterFor all of us out there,
one day,But then again
I'm met by the
same old fate
staring back at me
saying
''Suck it up. Separation,it hurts every time.''
Home is not
where your family is,
it's where your heart is.****
