Henry's POV

I want to tell her the truth but I am afraid that she will stop talking to me.

And if I tell her I will get the both of us in big trouble.

For me it would be death for sure but for her she could get hurt or even die too.

Or the worst of all turned.

I don't want anyone to ever be in my position

But I needed to tell her so here goes nothing.

"It all started in 1994" Henry said

"I was exactly 18 by then and it was my birthday that day so my friends and I went to a ball (party in the old time) that was made under the king's orders" Henry said

"It was a huge one and everyone was invited to it , First one of its kind farmers, royals, swordsmen and huntsmen were there from the whole county" He completed

"people were having fun and it was a good night, Then my eyes fell on a beautiful lady and by the way she was dressed I knew she was a royal so I asked a man there he was some kind of butler about this woman" He said smiling

"He told me her name is Cloe Avon and something told me to go to her and talk to her "Henry said a little sad

"I went to her and introduced myself she told me she knew my father and my family with smirk plastered on her face

Flashback

Henry's POV

"Hello ma'am" Henry said

"Hello Gentleman" Cloe said

"My name is Henry Jones ma'am son of Lord Simon Jones" Henry said proud of his father and his job

"I already know of your father son he is a loyal hardworking man" Cloe said smiling

"This is my sister Christina Avon" She said pointing at her sister and her sister did an elegant bow

"Why don't you take her to the next dance" Cloe said

"Sure thing my lady" Henry said looking at her sister and raising his hand to the throne she sat one and assisted her to get down

"What a gentleman" Christina said

"How are you this day Mr. Henry" Christina said

"I am great my lady and what of you" Henry said

"I am absolutely wonderful" She said

End of Flashback

"I wasn't happy while dancing with her and I wanted to leave her but my manners are too good to do that" Henry said smirking

"Then after the dance I headed back to my house when I entered my parents were on the floor and........

"I saw something that made me feel pain and disgust and loneliness" he said

"Not only was it hurtful for me but for everyone else around me" he said

"I have been through a lot Gina, and what I saw was the worst of it all" he said

Pain was flooding through his eyes.

And I could guess what he had to say.
