Of Chaos and Calculation

Start from the beginning

Someone was currently using it, from all the grunts and sharp sounds of a fist hitting an object. I wouldn't have gave it another thought, if I didn't catch the familiar gleam of silver faceplates. I stopped in my tracks, backing up as a smile broadened my features.

The door wasn't open, but it wasn't shut all the way either. There was a small crack of space for a human to slip through, and I snorted as I pushed my way in.

"You know, if you're going to hide from me, the least you could do was not make so much noise to make it obvious." But all of my humor faded when I glanced up.

It was a silver face, but there was no silver armor. The armor was golden. Panic made my heart freeze in my chest, and I quickly tried to turn away but it was too late. He already spotted me.

The golden twin's dark blue eyes landed right on me, and I felt a cold shiver run down my spine when they narrowed venomously. The large bag that the golden Autobot had been practicing on was forgotten as he turned towards me, a scowl marring his otherwise nice features.

I stuttered instantly, "I...I'm sorry, I thought you w-were-"

"My brother?" He interrupted sharply.

Silence was my only response, I could feel my heart pounding, so loud in my chest that it felt like it was going to crawl out of me. My legs felt numb and shaky, as the fear of the dangerous situation I just put myself in finally seemed to sink into me. There was no one else here...except for me and a homicidal twin brother.

Shakily, I began to back away again, "N-No, I wasn't trying to-"

"Stop lying to me," He snarled, eyes dark with untold fury, "I warned you before to stay away from my brother, but you couldn't do that, could you? You had to wrap your stinky, oily appendages around my brother's helm until all he thinks about is you. And not me. You couldn't just follow a simple order and stay away, could you?"

I didn't wait any longer. I turned away, running back towards the door. But to my dismay, I didn't get more than five steps before I was suddenly whisked away from the ground. I let out a terrified scream, feeling the bronze hands wrap tightly around my waist. No! This wasn't how it was supposed to end!

Desperately, I wriggled, trying to somehow slip out of his grip, but it only tightened in response. I coughed, feeling my stomach dropped as I was lifted up higher, to be face-to-face with his burning cobalt gaze.

"No, please!" I pleaded, feeling myself close to tears as the edges of my vision blurred.

"I told you to stay away!" He shouted, his voice echoing in the empty room and shaking me down to my core, "But you couldn't fraggin' do that? Huh? You just had to be a selfish, slagging manipulating flesh-bag! You think you can take my brother for yourself?" He roared.

I shook my head frantically, "N-No! P-please let me go, I promise, I won't see him again! I promise!"

His grip tightened again, to the point where it was borderline painful. "Your human promises mean nothing to me."

"Please," I cried out, "You're hurting me! I n-never meant to-"

"Shut up!" He snarled, but his grip did loosen slightly. Enough that I could breath again, but all the extra oxygen was going to my lungs which felt like they were on fire.

"I'm the one who has been beside that bastard since he was sparked. I'm the one who fought through all kinds of pit with him when we were in the arenas. I'm the one, who had to be there for him, and protect him because our slagging creators couldn't do it themselves.  I'm the one who fought beside him in these Primus forsaken wars, And I'm the one who will die with him."
