"Alright Cap, were coming up on the drop zone in about ten minutes, you all better be ready to jump by then." Clint told Steve and the team from the pilot seat. For months now they had been following leads on one of the last known Hydra bases, and now they were about to destroy it.

It has now been over a year since the accords were made, within that time, the team had managed to come back together and reach a middle ground that would still allow them to go where ever they felt was needed without questioning. Throughout the year, Tony and T'Challa had worked together to rid Bucky of his trigger words so he could join the team and fight alongside Steve, as well as redeem himself.

"You ready for this pal?" Steve asked Bucky as he watched him grabbing his gear to prepare to jump right into the awaiting fight.

"They took my life away from me, they deserve what's coming to them." Bucky replied as he was loading his guns and making sure he had a few spare knifes.

Just then, the jet shifted, taking a sharp turn in the sky only to have its right wing blown off. "Looks like they knew we were coming, brace for impact guys!" Clint yelled from the pilot seat as he brought the jet down for an emergency landing. Thanks to Clint no one was hurt, but now the team had to come up with a new strategy and fast if they wanted to still try to get all the information they needed from the files at the base.

"Alright team, we're gonna need to split up. Sam and Tony, you two will take the roof. Clint and Natasha will take the back ways. Me and Bucky will come in through the sides. Bruce and Thor will stay in the jet until it's time to leave or we need a code green." Steve explained as everyone began to pair off to get ready for what needed to be done. "Avengers, move out!"

"The Avengers! They're in the building!" One of the hydra agents yelled as he entered the room that held their current leader.

"Perfect, exactly as planned." He replied calmly.

"Sir, they've already taken down many agents and are on their way up here right now!" The agent told him frantically.

"Let them come, I have a surprise for them." The leader replied with a wicked smirk, causing the agent to only gulp in fear when he realized what was going to happen. When the two of them heard a banging on the door, they already knew the team was on the other side. When Steve had entered first with his shield raised and Bucky behind him, it was exactly what the man wanted.

When the agent tried to make a run for it, Bucky shot him down without a second thought, causing the rest of the team to quickly pool onto the room. Steve instantly made his way toward the hydra commander, with Bucky hot on his trail. "Now why was it so easy to get to you?" Steve asked, shield still raised.

"There is no use putting up a fight against earths mightiest heroes." The man smirked mockingly, "especially when one of them came from hydra-" the man was quickly cut off by Steve's fist to his jaw, before being pinned against the wall as Bucky held his gun to the mans head.

"Any last words?" Bucky smirked as his finger was itching to pull the trigger.

"Just one." The man smiled as he let his eyes drift into the darkend corner of the room. "Reaper."

As soon as the words left his lips, three gunshots were heard, all of them hitting someone. Whoever was in the room had managed to hit, Natasha, Sam, and even escaped Clint's notice, hitting him as well.

"Friday? How many heat signatures are you picking up in this room?" Tony asked with his repulsed raised and ready to fire at anyone who wasn't a part of the team as he stood in front of his fallen teammates.
