~3rd Person Pov~

She woke up today thinking it was going to be like every other day. But little did she know it was going to be the exact opposite.

~1st Person Pov~

When I walked downstairs I expected breakfast to already be on the table. The table was completely empty. So I went over to the fridge and when I did I noticed a note taped to the front of it.

Dear our beloved daughter,
       Your father and I decided that you are old enough to stay home alone. And so we both took a vacation to Hawaii for a week.
                                         With love,
                                              Mom
"Well," I say out loud,  "at least it can't get any worse." Today was Saturday, so I didn't have anywhere to go except my room to go watch Netflix.

~30 minutes later~

I hear a faint knock on the door. I get up to answer it and find it to be the mail man. He asked me to sign the permission slip he was holding. After bringing the massive box inside I try to read who the box was from. There was no name, so I decided to open it up, it was a...another box, how interesting. After taking out the small but heavy box I found a note stuck to it.

Dear my sweet love,
       Don't open this box until I say you can. What is inside is something very special to me and by giving this to you, I am proving my towards you. But if you open it before I say you can….Let's just say things won't be pretty, okay?

“Woah creepy” I said, “I'll just leave this in my closet or something.”

I checked the time and the clock read 10:30 p.m. so I decided to take a walk, since my parents won't get mad at me this time. While I was walking I started thinking about what could possibly be in the box….the smaller box that is. Maybe chocolate, nah it would melt way to fast. God please don't let there be another box. If I don't open it soon I'll die of curiosity. Maybe I ca- HONK! A loud honk dragged me out of my thoughts. “GET OUT OF THE ROAD BEFORE I RUN YOU OVER!” said a road raging driver, “Okay, I'm moving, I'm moving! Jeez.” I yelled back. I realized I must have been out here for a while, so I started my trip back home. When I got home home I got this eerie feeling I was being watched, but I brushed it off thinking it was just me being paranoid, like always. Exhausted from the walk I decided to sleep. As soon as my head hit the pillow I fell into a deep slumber.

~??? Pov~

I can't wait to claim my prize! Hehehehe! She looks so beautiful in her sleep. I wish I could get closer to her, but I'm stuck behind the window. I smile at how peaceful she looks. “ One day my love,” I say quietly, before I leave.
