Official? Not.

Oh gosh, any hotter, you'll get a fever.

I blew out the air I had in my cheeks and took a sip of the ice water.

My cheeks were burning hot as fuck.

I buried my face in my hands, groaning in the process.

Goodness me.

I was at Rares' house, two days after that...incident.

Soarin got me home by my car and to be honest, I don't know whether to be grateful or not that he gave me his cap to shield from the media.

I mean, of course everyone's got rainbow hair.

But it was kinda sweet...

Shut up.

"Darling! Look at this!" Rares waved a newspaper in front of me.

I peeked at it and sure, for the first three pages of the newspaper was about me and Soarin.

There.

There was a huge bold title on the front page of the newspaper.

"SKIES WITH RAINBOW GIRL"

"Are they official?"

Not.

"New girlfriend?"

Oh, yeah.

I forgot he could've dated other girls.

My eyes widened as I realised what the hell was I thinking.

Of course he fucking did.

I mean, he's worldwide famous.

And that's not helping my case at all.

Then there was a huge pic of Soarin putting his cap on me.

"Oh my fucking Jesus Christ..." I muttered as I switched on my phone. There were hundreds of emails from various companies asking for my interviews.

And twenty missed calls from Mom.

Well...I've lived a pretty good life...

"Rainbow, you're internationally famous already!" Rarity exclaimed as she scrolled down her phone's screen. "People think you are official with him...like you know, from the previous news of you being with him too."

"What should I do...?" I hugged my knees and looked up at her helplessly.

"Well, you could always grow old on a rocking chair with seventy cats hiding from modern society..."

"RARITY."

Since school had to go on, I had to drag my lazy ass there.

Expectedly, comments were everywhere.

"Rainbow Dash! Is this you?!"

"I think it is her, I mean, who has rainbow hair other than her?!"

"Are they official?"

"They're so cute together!"

I had to push through the huge crowd of students to go to my classroom.

Like, seriously, they just swarmed my sports car when I've just driven onto the school's carpark.

Now I understand how Soarin feels.

Being understa-

Oh shut up.

I stormed past the crowd, into my Math class.

Great.

I just hate Mondays.

Monday...?

Oh crap.

Soarin and I had to submit the camp schedule today. We hadn't even discussed much yet.

Oh god this is fucked up.

I went into the classroom and luckily, there was no crowd crowding me.

Instead, they were directed to Soarin, who was sitting in the furthest corner of the classroom, with arms crossed.

And my seat...was right next to his.

What a wonderful day.

The hood of his jacket was pulled down, only leaving a little slit of light to expose his slightly frowning lips.

My hands clenched into a fist.

For some reason, I felt like giving him a hug. I felt...empathetic.

Where's the fuckin' teacher?

My heart felt heavy looking at him.

I walked quickly to my seat and cleared my throat loudly, "Shoo dumbasses, can't you see he doesn't want to talk?"

I dragged out my chair and put down my bag.

They stepped back and I sat down beside him, giving them my infamous steely glare when some remained.

All of them returned to their seats.

Sighing, I glanced to him.

"What's wrong?"

He shifted in his seat, only looking down at his hands. "I'm sorry about the media. I...I shouldn't have been so careless, Rainbow."

A grim expression crossed my face, "Nah, it's fine."

He only nodded.

"So...when do we discuss the camp schedules? Today is the due date, ya know."

"At breaktime, I guess."

I stared at him.

He seemed so depressed.

Was there something else than what he'd just told me?

"You...sure you're alright?"

"Mmm."

Shadows hid his face, making me feel frustrated that I couldn't see his signature smirk, either.

After a period of silence, he smiled slightly.

"Hey, take a picture," his voice deep and I could hear a bit of amusement, "it'll last longer."

Smiling, I punched his shoulder lightly, "That's the Soarin I know."

He lifted his head, and looked at me with those intense emerald eyes.

Suddenly, I had problems breathing.

"I know, princess."

God.

It had been so long guys.

I'm very very very very sorry for the delay. Blame it all on the writer's block.

It's such a bitch.

Anyway, should I post the next chappie today since I had it all written out now?

I feel like I owe you guys one.
