*you meet your ex; the two of you ended the relationship on a good note (and yes I used the same name for all of them)*

Unsocial Holmes

"Phillip." You nodded at the male behind the cashier. He looked surprised to see you but still smiled.

"Long time no see huh (Y/N)?" He began scanning your items and putting them in bags while Sherlock (you somehow managed to get him to come with you to the store) narrowed his eyes at your ex.

"Don't." You whispered to him and he sent you an innocent look.

"Do what?"

"You don't need to deduce him to death, we ended on a good note." You didn't need to tell him the two of you were in a relationship, he probably already knew. Sherlock watched Phillip until he was done bagging your items and you both said goodbye.

Once out of the store you grabbed Sherlock's hand. He glanced down at you but didn't protest, making you smile.

"I love you." You leaned your head against his arm (because you were a bit too short to reach his shoulder).

"He still likes you." He responded. You sighed, not getting too upset. This was Sherlock, and Sherlock would be Sherlock 'till he died as Sherlock because he is Sherlock.

Watson

You put another book on the shelf and dusted off your hands. Somehow the books and shelves managed to get really dusty, and you weren't exactly sure how. Hearing the ding of a bell, you turned to face the person.

Phillip.

"Hey (Y/N)." He greeted. "Long time no see."

"Yes," you whispered. He didn't spend any more time talking, instead he turned to browsing the shelves of books. John, who sat in a chair reading, looked up at the odd exchange of words, noticing the slightly awkward atmosphere. He set down his book and got up, strolling over to you.

"Who's he?" He said the words quietly so Phillip wouldn't hear him.

"Ex." You muttered, ducking your head.

"Oh." He thought for a moment. "If he gives you any trouble tell me." You smiled at the offer as he went to go back to reading. Thankfully, John didn't need to step in at all, as Phillip simply checked out a couple books and left.

Lestrade

You skipped into the building and walked towards your boyfriend. You had decided to surprise him by visiting randomly at a hopefully-not-busy time. Fortunately for you, it just so happened to be one of those times.

"Hi honey!" You called, making him look up.

"Hey (Y/N)." He greeted, pulling you in for a quick kiss. "What are you doing here?"

"Just thought I'd stop by." You shrugged, walking over to sit in his comfy chair. "What do you do in this chair? Order people around? That's your division, right?"

Before he could respond your ex came walking in. "I've got the papers Lestrade." He spotted you as he handed the pieces of paper over. His eyes widened slightly, as did yours.

"Thanks Phillip." Greg responded, already sifting through the pages.

"Hi (Y/N)." Phillip said. You nodded back, not wanting to say much. When the atmosphere started to get tense Greg looked up, and noticing it was because of the two of you, sent Phillip on his way.

"He was my ex." You told him before he could ask. He nodded, sending you a sympathetic look before going back to work. You were back to your clueless, cheerful self in a minute though.

Fancy Holmes

You slid across the floor, dishing out people's meals and asking how the food was. You were in an especially good mood, which your co-workers caught on to quite quickly, and the majority of the orders were sent to you to give out. Sliding and gliding across the floor, you smiled happily to yourself. If only your boyfriend were here, then your day would be complete.

The front doors opened and closed and in walked Phillip, your ex. You skidded to a halt and saw a co-worker of yours direct him to a table. You started backing up, careful not to bump into anyone or anything, and turned to ask someone how their food was.

It wasn't the fact that you didn't want to see Phillip again, it was just the fact that the exchange would be awkward. Awkward exchanges are bad, and you didn't want anything bad on this unexplainably happy day.

Someone grabbed you to stop you from running into a table, and you turned too see Mycroft standing there. He read your emotions quickly, understanding what had you backing up, and asked you to seat him. You did, thankful he gave you a reason for your co-workers not to make you help Phillip, and took his order.

Because of your boyfriend you didn't have to talk to Phillip at all, though I'm sure he noticed you. You thanked Mycroft a million times later, even mentioned he made your extraordinary day better. He just rolled his eyes but inside he was proud of himself.

Moriarty

You brought the small cup of tea in your hands to your face to take a sip, savoring every taste. It wasn't often you were able to do things like this, just treat yourself after a long week of work. Of course you also worked the weekend but it still felt nice.

You looked up from your drink to see a man you recognized casually sitting at a table a few away from yours, thumb through the belt around his waist. Phillip? You blinked, surprised to see your ex but not finding that too odd. You were bound to run into him at one point or another.

Then suddenly your boyfriend walked into the shop, making his way over to your table. Before you could say anything he sat down and smiled.

"How's your tea?" The question was so casual, so normal, you tried to remember if you invited him, or even told him you were here for that matter.

"Um, fine." You set the cup down. "What-"

"I saw you and thought I should say hi." His eyes wandered around the shop.

"Oh." You could hear a chair scraping the ground as the occupant stood up to leave and out of the corner of your eye you could see Phillip stand too. He headed towards the unseen person out of your view but James spoke before you could watch to see what happened.

"What flavor is it?"

"What?" You brought your focus back to him as the door leading outside swung shut.

"The tea."

"Oh it's green tea."

"Mmm." He nodded.

"So..." You sat awkwardly for a little bit before deciding to take another sip of your tea. Then the door opened again and Phillip came strolling in, right over to James.

"Done." He said respectfully, like the tone one would use when speaking to a higher authority.

"Disposed of?" Your boyfriend asked.

"Yes sir."

"Good, you did well." Phillip relaxed some and smiled.

"What's going on?" You asked, confused.

"There was someone who wanted to kill you so I sent Phillip here after him." James responded almost boredly. "The man got nervous when I walked in and took off, thus Phillip took care of him outside."

".........Oh........" That's, um, nice?

"Well we better go." James stood up and Phillip headed for the door. "Goodbye Princess!" He waved merrily before following after Phillip.
