Everything so silent.

Everything felt dead.

Is everything fine?

(Y/n)'s gloom eyes eyed down the building. It crumpled in some places, all windows smashed and broken, some doors knocked down. All around was graffiti. It was a building she stumbled across while walking around the creek. Stupid isn't it?

After everything that has happened, she still had the nerve to go in the woods? Either she had more guts than most or she was losing it. (Y/n) walked in, her sneakers slapping against the concrete floors that had tiles busted all over them. Scanning the walls that had holes and mold, she pulled up her shirt to put over her mouth and nose. "Disgusting," she muttered as she walked. In the building was various hallways where rooms lined the place. Why did this place feel so familiar?

(Y/n)'s senses perked when she heard something hit the floor, instantly she lunged into one of the rooms. Curious, she tried to see what made that. To her, it sounded like someone had jumped and landed the floor hard. Biting her lip, she picked up a piece of glass that reflected and tried to use that as a mini to see what's coming.

It was a person. A beaten person. A person who went by a four-letter name. Anger stricken in her as she jumped out of he room and lunged at Alex, fist ready and eyes like daggers. Alex, seemingly dazed and his head turning into a wildfire from the headache, was very unaware and surprised at the sudden outburst that aimed at him.

He fell back, (Y/n) on top of him, she began to throw punches like mad. Anger strengthening her throws. Alex recovered from a weak punch quickly and tried to push her off furiously. "Oi!" she yelped as Alex managed to push her to the ground and he held her down. Struggling from his grasp, she tried to kick but he still had her in his grip. She groaned and muttered a curse word under he breath and quit struggling. No one talked, they both just stared intensely at each other. Both looking like snapping necks was a great activity to relieve some stress right now.

The family photo flashed in her mind again. Struggling again through clenched teeth. With a new found strength (Y/n) threw him off and began to find a piece of glass quickly on the floor.  Alex started coughing like mad as he was on his hands and knees. Smiling, she found the sharp object she'd been looking for.

"Aah!" a high-piercing screech rang out the halls, grabbing both of (Y/n)'s psychotic act and Alex's coughing fit to appoint to that. A woman, her face looking horrified and making her seem a bit crazy stood down the hallway, holding a phone to her ear. "Police!"

"Bitch!" (Y/n) barked as then the woman started describing what they looked like and began running off. "Get back here!" (Y/n) never usually yells, it was clear when her usual mello voice cracked and her voice didn't reach as loud as she wished.

(Y/n)'s legs scampered through the hall with her footing not having any resistance and thus slippery. Thus, she slipped and rolled into the wall. Cursing loudly, she heard footsteps behind her. However, they didn't stop by her. Alex, the one running and reviving from his coughing, was running straight for the woman.

It didn't help when just a few days ago, her leg felt broken, and now she hit it on a floor and wall. Yet, she wasn't going to give up. Surely, the police were coming. Getting back up, she trudged through the halls. "Bzzz!" her phone vibrated and made a little noise. "Fuck it," she picked up the phone while running. "Tim!?"

        "(Y/n)? You home or something?"

        "Why?!"

"(Y/n), there's police all over your house right now."

Her heart dropped. "Tim, listen, go to Rosswood right now! Just park and wait for me!"

        "What's going on with you?"

"Please, Tim, be there," (Y/n) jumped outside a broken window and started running where the parking lot in Rosswood Park would be.

        "Agh! Okay, fine!"

She turned off her phone and started hurdling over stick and branches from brush and bushes and whacking low branched of trees. She needed to ditch this place quickly. At many points through her run in the woods, she slid or just about tripped, staying strong and having the matter of police find her was not on her To-Do-List.  (Y/n), as a kid, hated the police. She was raised like that, her father, who she had learned later once had been in prison for three years due to break-in, rose her up to dislike police. Not to the point, where she was disrespectful to them, but enough to have that feeling of hate for them.

Her mother hated how her father always told her of how bad the police can be, but hey? What can you do? Keep your hatred in for something forever? It was a dumb move, but it happened, and that's all there is to it.

Smiling, she saw the familiar paths that led to the main part of Rosswood where the parking lot was. Breaking out through the trees, she scampered for the parking lot where Tim leaned on his car smoking a cigarette.

"Start the car!" she yelled to him as she ran across the grass. Tim smashed the cig under his shoe and started the car. (Y/n) arrived and threw open the car door, threw herself in, and processed to slam the door. "Get us far from here! Please!"

Wordlessly, he drove out to the road and then turned off into a clear highway that few people went on. "What the hell is going on?" Tim asked, his dark eyes focused on the road viewed in front of him.

"Listen, Tim, shit's going down and there's more and...," she ran her fingers through her messy (h/c) hair. "Alex is probably after that girl right now and now the damn police are after Alex and me!"

        "For what!?"

"Well, some psycho-looking chic in this abandon building found Alex and me fighting and called the police!" (Y/n) briskly replied.

"Then why are police at your house?!"

"I don't fucking know!" she barked, her eyes flaring. It was a complete lie. She knew. Knew they found her prints on the body. For after she shot him, she was shocked and checked his pulse. Wiping her eyes with the sleeves of her jacket, I'm an idiot! She thought to herself.

"Tim, get me the hell out of here, please. I beg of you. And, I know you don't want to be apart of this mess-"

"(Y/n), no matter what, I'm with you. Even if that means I get involved with what ever is going on. You can tell me, I reckon you know more than you say." That's a nice way putting it instead of "I'm pretty sure you're lying." Nice move.

(Y/n) almost had a panic attack as she heard sirens, however the sirens came from three racing police vehicles on the other side of the highway. Tim knew something had happened. Knew that wasn't all.

        "Oh man, we're fucked."

(Damn, trying to break my writer's block is bitch sometimes.)
