The Start Of Something New

Edd sat at his windowsill looking at a few birds pass by as he let out a sigh. He went downstairs to join Tom and Matt watching Doctor Why. "What are you guys watching?" He said as he sat in the middle of them both. Tom had a look of disgust and just shook his head. Edd was confused and just awkwardly said "Ookie dokie.." Matt grabbed the remote and shut off the T.V as he snapped out of his confused and annoyed trance. "Oh, hey Edd.." he lazily waved. Edd softly chuckled and waved back. Edd got up and walked towards the door "Where are you going?" Tom stopped him before Edd opened the door "For a walk..." Edd sighed. Edd opened the door and ignored Tom's muffled comments. "Where are you...?" Edd asked the sky. He walked to the cliff where Tord had sat looking at the house that was now ashes. He walked onto the cliff to see Tord's puddles of blood almost like a pattern. Edd sat on the cliff remembering the fun times he had with Tord "Why did you have to leave..?" He shot another question up to the pink fluffy evening sky. He laid there on the cliff trying his hardest not to cry. He bit his quivering lower lip. "E-Edd...?" He heard a familiar voice from behind him Edd jolted up looking at the red hooded Norwegian "T-Tord..?!" He said shocked. "It's me..." he said with his arms outstretched not very far. "Tord!" He ran and hugged him tightly noticing his horrid injuries "Are you ok?!" Edd said in a worried tone. "Yes, But all that matters right now is you not me." Tord said trying to sound sentimental "Wha-?!" He looked rather angry "Look bud, How can you go around saying you don't matter?!!" He said harshly poking Tord in the chest "I tried to kill all of you..!! Why would a jerk like me matter?!" Tord said in a serious tone. "And?!" Edd responded angrier than ever "You are my friend! I don't care if you are a jerk! Most of my friends are jerks, And I still love them all!" He said starting to tear up and his cheeks turning a bright pink. He tried not to say anything else to trigger Edd. "R-really..?" He said pretty shocked. Edd started to softly cry "Y-yes!" He said through tears. "Edd I had no-..." he stopped there looking down at Edd who still had him in a tight hug but now his face was dug into Tord's chest. Edd slowly let go of him his eyes shaded by his hair that was messed up a bit. "Tord, Can I ask you something..?" He said making a fist "Yes Edd?" He said as he looked at his fists "W-well--"

He was going to say something that might change their friendship forever
