Tyler had not heard the screaming of a boy before he jumped, or the frantic footsteps running to him faster than they had ever gone.

Someone had seen him. Thank God they did.

Tyler felt his weight leave him as he flew off the bridge. It seemed as though time slowed down because he hadn't hit the water yet. Tyler felt something growing inside of him. It felt different, something he hadn't felt in a long time.

Happiness. You did it.

Slowly Tyler felt a shot of relief. Soon he would be gone. Gone away, from the world he would ruin.

You aren't an idiot.

Tyler felt happiness and relief when suddenly something else brushed against him. Another feeling that Tyler didn't want. Regret.

No. It wasn't redundancy for jumping. It felt like he suddenly had something to do. Almost like he felt like he had a purpose. Like he was needed somewhere.

You're needed dead.

Tyler tried to believe his only blurry friend. But he couldn't. He felt worried about something. But he couldn't do anything about it now.

Until he actually felt something. Or rather someone. A strong, but cold, grip grabbed Tyler's wrist. Tyler suddenly fell awake to reality. The clouds were crying, and the ocean was roaring. Tyler was alive. Unless this was where he was to go when he was dead. But no. It wasn't.

He was hanging there. Suddenly the grasp started to fall. The other body grabbed Tyler's hand.

The wind was blowing the figures around. Tyler tried to look up at his savior, but he got a raindrop in his eye.

"What the hell are you doing?!" The person above screamed at him.

Tyler couldn't answer, but he was sure the character knew what he was doing.

Tyler tried to speak, but the wind slapped him. Instead, he started crying.

"I'm sorry." He managed to get out.

Suddenly, they both looked at each other. And they both freaked out at who they saw.

Tyler saw the boy who he met on the first day. Except, this time, his hair was a bit curly and he had darker eyes. The eyes that saw Tyler in the treehouse got mentioned in his mind, but he ignored it.

The boy saw a strong person, or so he thought. When Tyler had first confronted him, the boy felt weak and beaten down. But Tyler made him feel good. He thought Tyler was overall happy and strong, but at the same time he never saw Tyler with people, so he thought backward. He also recognized him from other places, places that no one else knew about.

"W-what do we do..." Tyler sputtered out, shocked at who saved him. If he was scared when the crazy other people came, why did he risk his life to save his?

"I-" The character started.

The wood cracked that he was holding onto. It cracked some more. More, more, more, more.

The boys looked at each other. When suddenly, the wood cracked, and they fell.

Tyler felt air rush through his lungs. The hand that made him feel stable was gone. Every hope he had was gone.

The water hit him like a bullet. He knew he would die, but he knew the other boy would die too. Tyler started crying as he got dunked under water. He came up again, searching for anything, anyone, but got dunked again.

Air left him. Hope left him. Feeling left him. Until a firm fist wrapped around his crisp palm. He got pulled up and was getting dragged somewhere. Tyler started to go under, and suddenly his world went blacker than black.
